A wonderful art house, retro or blast from the past complex. Thoroughly enjoyed watching a film here and perusing around the neighbourhood after.
We went to the bring your baby “Lighthouse littles” session yesterday. The staff were absolutely lovely. As a new mum it was so nice to have such friendly and accommodating staff. They explained how it would work and offered their help if we needed anything. Will definitely go back :)
Lovely atmosphere and nice having two seater couches in the cinemas. It's awesome being able to wait in the lounge areas outside before the movies start. Food/drink prices are VERY expensive. They don't have pop corn.
NOT AN ACTUAL LIGHTHOUSE, kids and I very disappointed, was expecting a real working lighthouse that guides ships. But instead was a cinema. Went inside to watch movie and was great!
Lovely Art housey filmy place. Cosy and warm sitting area. Small intimate cinema with wine glasses allowed. VERY comfortable seats (set in pairs at front row)- they even came with cushions! Staff are friendly and attentive, even giving a small speech before the film starts. Would come back but no popcorn though :(
It's always a good vibe, and l love the seats. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's my favourite cinema in Wellington CBD.
Lighthouse Cinema Cuba may just be my new favourite place to catch a movie!. On a recent visit to Wellington my daughter and I (both avid movie fans!) popped in to see a movie we were both very much looking forward to seeing. I loved the intimacy of the exclusive small theater with super comfortable couches, seats, and cushions all adding to the relaxed, homely yet elegant atmosphere. We even chatted to the few other patrons who were there before and after the film. It was just lovely! I Highly Recommend a visit if you're in the Capital and I look forward to returning :)
