ORDERED A BURGER CALLED A CHEESY CHICKEN. Why have I been given HALF A SLICE of cheese in my burger. For something that has CHEESY in the name I would expect a full slice. Disappointed and ashamed to call this my local maccas. Do better.
Compliments to the island lady that’s always on the mic at the drive thru. She was on today at 9pm and ALWAYS Provides the loveliest service. Not once have I seen her without a big smile and I’m here a lot. Love and blessings to her ❤️❤️❤️
I ordered a Big Mac around 1pm today, and unfortunately, part of the burger had a strong chemical taste and smell that reminded me of the grill cleaning solution that’s used during cleaning. As a former Macca’s employee, I immediately recognised the smell. It seems likely that either the grill wasn’t properly rinsed after cleaning, or a cloth used during the cleaning process was still in use during food preparation. Regardless of the cause, it’s a serious concern and has definitely put me off eating at Macca’s again. I’ve still got a nasty chemical taste on my tongue even after 2hrs. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps improve food safety and handling procedures moving forward. The cleaning procedures needs to be seriously looked at with management and head office.
Service is a bit poor, there are some girls in the counter .. who threw 3 orders .. 1 milkshake, 1 Mcflurry and one custrad pie .. which I had to place it in a cup holder to carry.. I would have expected her to stay and check .. just the attitude on her face .. says she didn't want to serve.
I’d like to take a moment to commend Veronica, the cleaner at Porirua McDonald’s, for her outstanding work. Her attention to detail and dedication to keeping the dining area clean, tidy, and well-organized truly stood out. Thanks to her efforts, the entire space felt welcoming and well-maintained, which made my dining experience all the more enjoyable. It’s clear that Veronica takes pride in her work – the cleanliness was consistent, and everything was in order without being intrusive. Staff like Veronica are a true asset to any business. She plays a crucial role in creating a positive atmosphere for customers and elevates the overall standard of the establishment. Please pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation for her excellent work.

Was here a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. A lady showed up after I had made my order, who was in a wheelchair and clearly too low down to use the self service screens waited at the counter for at least ten minutes to be served. During this time there was a lady who appeared to be a manager right by the counter blatantly ignoring her. The customer eventually gave up and went elsewhere where she luckily got better service - one of the workers carried her tray to her table for her. What irks me most is that the next customer to approach the counter who arrived minutes after the other one left, was served almost immediately. All in all I am very unimpressed with the service here, especially in terms of serving disabled people. I understand these are underpaid workers but please, do better
the place looks very understaffed during rush hours in the weekend leading to a long wait time, and if you go up and say something’s wrong with your order you get glares and judgement. the blonde manager also spoke to me in a rude tone when i told them my fries were only filled halfway.
I like there food there and staff are nice. And this one staff member was very kind to me her names Eileen she is so sweet and beautiful and gorgeous her skin is lovely she is my favorite one there she is the most gorgeous and beautiful woman you have ever meet I love her so much she is so sweet and lovely she was like this to me on Christmas eve there you are buddy sorry about the wait have a good Christmas and I replied you too honey she is so sweet and nails are gorgeous too
