“Exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Decor is lovely and modern and furnishings very comfortable. The guest lounge area was also exceptionally clean with no grubby marks on the lounges or chairs ...unusual in common areas. The grounds were also well maintained with beautiful gardens and lovely seating areas. Neville and Sandra very friendly and welcoming and the couple of staff we came across were lovely and seemed very happy in their roles. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay and we would highly recommend staying here. Don't bother looking anywhere else.”

“After a 9 hour flight and a night stay in Auckland, we were pleasantly surprised at our accommodations at Sumner Re Treat. We were greeted by Chris and she escorted us to our room. It was not only spotless, but very attractively decorated. Our accommodations came with all the necessary amenities, the decor was contemporary, and the location was excellent. There were numerous eateries within walking distance. Best of all, it was a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend Sumner Retreat if you plan on visiting Christchurch and want to get away from the City Centre.”

“We visited Bay Guesthouse with our good friends. The Captains House was perfect for 2 couples. The accommodation is superb with extremely well thought out extras and very high end amenities and furnishings. The place is simply stunning and was far beyond our expectations. The pictures do not so it justice. The views are magnificent. Armando and Marianne were wonderful hosts. Anticipating our every need. From appy’s on arrival to 2 amazing dinners on the terrace and yummy breakfasts— all was delicious With incredible attention to detail. We would love to have stayed longer. We will be back. I could not more highly recommend the Bay Guesthouse. We are discerning travellers and always book higher end accommodation. This is superb. You will not be disappointed.”

“This is the third time we have stayed at Omana Luxury Villa and it is just so amazing. There are four differently decorated 1 Bedroom villas that are generous in size and next level! The quality of products, the ocean island view and the setting is so incredible plus the convenience to get there from Auckland city really is just fabulous. We travel a lot and think we have a little bit of heaven right here on Waiheke Island for all the lovely tourists that come to our country to enjoy and for people like us who feel like a getaway so close to home is just fabulous. 45 minutes and we’re there. Congratulations to Silmara and Cobus for having done such as a superb job of creating an environment we just crave to get back to.”

“Our first stop after arriving in New Zealand, not too far from the airport which was excellent after a long flight. Cottage was clean, bright and homely. It was so comfortable staying there. So many different spreads and jams provided for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitant to recommend to our friends.”

“Brett and Veronica were amazing hosts and our stay was truly 5 stars. The views of the vineyard are beautiful, there is a short hike to the beach, and they have a cute dog who hung out with us for a bit. Veronica also took us into town for a yoga class one of the mornings!”

“This was the nicest hotel from our holiday in NZ. From the moment we stepped in the door, service was excellent. Having a laundry machine in the room was a huge bonus to refresh our suitcase. “We have stayed here multiple times now and we love it every time. We’ve stayed on a powered site in a tent, in the A frames, and this holiday we stayed in a one bedroom cottage. So much is provided for you and the facilities are wonderful. We love the hosts and their families, they are always so lovely and accommodating. There is plenty to do and the surroundings never disappoint. Plus their wood fired pizza and icecream are great too. This is one of our favourite places to come and rewind!”

“As a busy toddler mum, I can't express how nourished and cared for I felt over my 4 days on retreat at Cape South. It is the most peaceful and restorative place. I loved everything about my Cape South retreat experience - especially the Yoga Nidra and the food (it is some of the most delicious food you will ever eat!). “Chambourcin Cottage - what a wonderful place. So well located - nestled in it's own vineyard, and then surrounded by many other beautiful vineyards, as close as a walk or cycle away. Kim and Bruce were so welcoming, from the first email interaction, and were extremely generous with local knowledge of local vineyards and restaurants. The cottage itself is stylishly appointed, with no detail overlooked. The most beautiful accommodation on our North Island holiday. A real find!”

“We celebrated a weekend of our honeymoon at the Boatshed Hotel and we fell in love. Jonathon and his team made us feel like we were the only guests at the hotel. From picking us up at the ferry, giving us charcuterie and wine upon welcoming us into the lobby, and spending every meal overlooking the ocean. We will be back and cannot talk higher about our experience at the Boatshed it was heaven on earth.”

“Highly recommend staying at Sojourn Apartment Hotel Riddiford. We were very impressed with the amenities, location, cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff that we dealt with during our stay. We stayed in the Petite Double internal room, and this particular Petite Double has a table and chairs set which was great for getting some remote work done on the trip. The room was very well equipped with everything we needed and the Nespresso machine was definitely one of my favourite features. The internal room was very quiet, and the location was perfect, right opposite Wellington Hospital, with a bus stop right outside making for easy access around the city. We would definitely love to stay again.”

“Our room was very fresh and clean. The location is great! Easy walk to the waterfront, TePapa Museum, Red Cable Car, botanical gardens and lots of restaurants, bars, eateries and coffee shops. It was a perfect location for our 2 nights in Wellington. The front office staff were also friendly and helpful. They ordered a car service to help us get to the ferry on our departing morning.”

It's a unique venue and a delight to stay in, but Noah and the other staff were the real stars of the experience, truly exceptional!”

“Stunning hotel, that sits beside the lake for those that like going for walks or runs in nature, this is for you. They do have a gym and spa on-site though for those that don't want to leave the hotel. I have stayed here 3 times over the year and each room I have gotten, have always been very clean and have been stocked with everything I could of needed. The staff here from reception to the restaurant as well as the housekeepers are so Incredibly lovely. I highly recommend this place!”

“Piha Beachstay was such a beautiful surprise. The location is perfection, you can walk to the beach, hikes, waterfalls, and into town to grab a coffee. The shared space and rooms were incredibly clean. The hostel was very quiet for us so if you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. Absolutely stunning location and if the weather is good you are in for a treat!”
