Great staff! Most are very caring and understanding. They need some help updating their systems and resources. I will be coming back for further treatment. Ngā mihi.

My friend discharged her self then immediately ran away after i went back in to get some stuff hold by staff we did not even leave the car park Her nurse walked with me to say good by. But my mate took off from the car to self harm again. I ask for the nurse to call police to help find her. I spent multiple minutes doing laps in the car to find her. I wanted to update the police job to say her phone was in the car and I was using her car to find her. To find out my job was the only job An hour ish later she was found my a member of the plubic unresponsive. Then Ambo to dph then discharged back home.. I feel deeply concerned about the lack of effort even the hospital security was not even 5 mins after vocally discharging her self. Making a complaint tomorrow My review reflects on the 9c word. No where else

Was held down by 12 people while a nurse put a needle of something in me which I’m still unsure what was put in me, they then put me on 9 clonazapam a day as well as anti depressants ALL WHILE AGE 17. As well as the fact they stole my AirPods when they held me down I never got them back.this was from my stay in 9b for suicide in December 2020. I Also couldn’t leave or do anything for my whole stay so I was literally just in my room. The only one who was polite was DR Blair Bermingham.

Came here for a couple weeks for a winter getaway. Was not disappointed! Outstanding service from the gourmet dining in to the karaoke lounge room classes. If you are visiting Dunedin this is the place to stay! Luxurious bedding, breakfast in bed and they even have a a tennis court. There’s no time for boredom at the Wakari resort; if you’re not out shooting hoops or taking a piss there’s a huge selection of essential oils to smell at the reception area. If I haven’t convinced you yet picture yourself in front of a flat screen tv relaxing to informercials, creating masterpieces in the spacious art area or cigarette but collecting in the beautiful gardens with your new friends. This place truly has it all.

Night shift staff are nice, day shift are rude and don't care, had three break downs no one came to see if I was okay, I was feeling unsafe the whole time I was there, they tried to ask me a whole heap of questions when I was upset and unable to answer them without crying and the food was horrible

One of the worst restaurants I've ever had the misfortune to visit. There was no maitre'd so we had to find a table ourselves. There was nobody to pull our chairs out or take our coat, and there wasn't even a menu on the table. I don't know if they even have a sommelier, but we were unable to find the wine list. The food on offer is quite 'earthy' and 'uncomplicated' - think workplace canteen and you're not too wide of the mark. We opted for lasagne, which was served with potato chips. The lasagne was stodgy and dried out, and the chips were definitely out of the freezer. To cap it all, were ejected for attempting to smoke an after dinner cigar. Very disappointing, would not visit again.

Staff seem mainly nice but some are very unprofessional. Been three occasions that a person I know has been given the incorrect medication and they don't seem to keep a very close watch on their patients in ward 9C. Took them over an hour to notice someone had run away when they were supposed to be detained under the mental health act.
