“I can see how Coffee Culture Kaiapoi got top Award. The food is so fresh, hot and so yummy. The staff is outstanding and so friendly and welcoming! My favorite is Sam! He was able to get a table for us when so so busy! He is so friendly, chatty and quick service, we enjoy talking to him. He is outstanding and very quickly to clear and wipe tables. He deserves a 10/10. Bernice & Don”

“Every time I have visited this location, the staff are super helpful. And that is coming from a techy electrical engineer/sales engineer who knows a lot about this kind of stuff and usually wants to be left to shop alone, but the staff are not overly pushy and genuinely helpful. Also coming from someone who worked computer/electronic retail for almost 15 years in the states. So when I say this store is doing the right thing the right way, that comes from a lot of experience. Most recently I stopped in to purchase a simple item, just a stove cook top for some rural cooking on a holiday vacation, I even knew what I wanted of course. There were none in stock for the one I truly wanted, it happens, and I didn't have time to go or choose somewhere else, so when the woman approached me about needing any help, and confirmed they were out of stock with what I wanted initially. I felt good that I could pivot to something similar, and in the end a bit closer to what I needed anyway. Overall, she helped me settle on something else, confirmed pricing and brought out the item from the back to purchase at the front desk. I wasn't harped about extended warranties, etc which I don't personally buy with these commodity items, and usually self repair if I even deem it worth it or necessary. Purchased easy enough and went on with my packing for the trip that day. Would definitely come back. I haven't visited the Mount Maunganui location lately, but as far as this experience goes, it was above the quality of the times I have visited the Mount location. Not by a lot, just enough to be noticeable. Though maybe that location has improved as well. Whatever you are doing, keep up the great work.”

Their advice is always v helpful and their prices are significantly better than what you get elsewhere. I didn't realise that they can order in new products, and even these are price matched or better. On the occasion that something has been missing or faulty, followup is quick and effective”

“Profoundly upset & frustrated to learn that The Warehouse has been been strong-armed out of Milford Mall, despite the Group's offer of favourable financial terms & the overwhelming support of locals in the area. We are losing the ONLY outlet providing DIY, Gardening, Furniture, Crafts, Home/Kitchen Ware, Appliances, Tech, - to name a few. It's a lovely, peaceful place with delightful ambiance. The last thing we need is a gym!”

I was assisted by Mark, who handled the situation very professionally. He quickly arranged for a replacement washing machine and apologized for the inconvenience. I am extremely satisfied with how Mark resolved the issue. His excellent customer service and prompt resolution made a potentially stressful situation much easier. “I went to the store this afternoon to grab a drawer liner, but to my surprise, I found a big mirror I’d been searching for everywhere, it was finally in stock! I knew I had to get it before it was gone again. The floor staff, Lei and her two colleagues, were amazing. They helped me bring the mirror to the checkout and even assisted me in loading it into my car. I’m really grateful for their help. “I have changed over to my prescription meds pickup to Chemist Warehouse Silverdale recently as prices are way better and the stock is 5x larger than regular pharmacies. It is always busy there with plenty of helpful staff often stocking up shelves. Most know where stuff is.”

“I recently visited Woolworths St James in Rototuna, Hamilton, NZ, during the evening, and I was really impressed with the quality of the chilled and meat sections. I had a specific list of items I was looking for, and I ended up spending quite a bit of time in these areas, and I’m glad I did! The chilled section was exceptionally well-organized and stocked with a wide variety of fresh products. From dairy items like milk, cheese, and yogurt to fresh deli products, everything was easy to find, and the shelves were neatly arranged. I was particularly impressed by how well-maintained the section was, with everything from fresh salads to frozen meals displayed with great care. The staff was visible in this area, arranging items and making sure everything was in its proper place, but what stood out most was how friendly and helpful they were. Even though they were busy restocking and organizing, they still took the time to greet me and offered to assist when I had questions. Moving on to the meat section, I was equally impressed. The variety of cuts and types of meat was excellent, from premium steaks to sausages and fresh poultry. The staff in this section were very knowledgeable and approachable, offering me guidance on some of the best options for the meal I was planning. They were genuinely welcoming and made me feel comfortable asking questions, even as they were actively arranging the fresh meat on the shelves. Overall, my visit to Woolworths St James was a pleasant experience. The friendly staff in both the chilled and meat sections made the evening shopping feel personal and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back for both the quality of products and the excellent customer service.”
