   So, when a child goes missing in your store, why does your staff ignore the mother and concider the situation low priority? Just curious. I have never heard of this policy from a department store before. For anyone visiting the Riccarton store: If the unthinkable happens and your child wanders off, not only will they not help by making announcements and assisting the mother, they will also hinder any efforts people make to find the child. In this case the child was found safe and sound but the staff at Kmart Riccarton should be put on a watch list for child endangerment.

   It's alright, nothing to write home about. Decent prices, fair staff, clean store. Although, as a tourist, seeing Kmart whatsoever was honestly really cool.

   Not ever restocked and so I asked a lady if they had some items that weren’t on shelf cause they said stocked online in store and she said oh yeah I was meant to stock then last night and I just didn’t??? What that’s what your getting paid for

   Normally I would say I have a great experience with this store, but recently a worker (Deb) was very rude to me, very abrupt and overall not nice to be around. The interaction made for a good story to tell my family. I'll go back to the store again but I'll avoid this worker.

   1. The price was placed wrongly. I purchased a yoga mat with $9 displayed on the shelf, then checked out and realized it's $25 on the receipt. Customers have rights to claim that for $9. All retailers should know that. 2. The staff named Lan was rude and impatient. I asked to exchange to another yoga mat. At first she was helpful. As I was bringing the mat back to it's shelf, she told me I could leave it to her so I don't have to carry it all the way. Then she also pointed at the right direction as I went to the wrong one. I appreciate these from her. However, when I asked "Can I get cash refund?" (my debit card had just been recently issued, the bank told me not to put money in for a period of time, that's why I requested cash refund instead of eftpos one), she didn't get it, thinking that I wanna pay for the new one with cash, I assume. She then kept explaining "So you wanna return this and buy this bla bla bla". I thought it's complicating her, so I said "Actually I can do on my card". She started to seem annoyed, told me "I don't understand!". Then she said again "you will get the refund for this and use that money to buy this bla bla bla...I understand! Let me do it, ok?". It's like she didn't even wanna listen to a customer and she thought I was annoying. Like, she thought she was helping and I should shut up and let her do her job??? Well, maybe she didn't mean to be rude, maybe it's just the behaviour culture of where she's from, I have no idea. But Kmart shouldn't let her fail customers like that.

   Awful experience today when I was accosted by the lady at the door scanning receipts. I only had one item and had the receipt visible and she yelled at me because I didn’t stop when she asked to scan it. They need to put their checkout near the door rather than have some rude lady harassing customers when they’re leaving.

   Beyond the rudest staff of any Kmart I have been to. Will try and avoid this one after more than one bad experience. Plus the stock isn’t as good as the other stores i reckon Not helpful at when I asked to find something. Tried to return a plate set that had a broken plate, they tried to accuse me of breaking it myself Last but not least, witnessed door lady let several pakeha people pass only to search the bag of an ethnic lady??? Not good enough

   We all know how hard it is to find things in our size… but upon looking and finding things in my size i just had to put them back.. these photos do not even show half of what i saw. I mentioned it to a understanding staff member but still left a little bit disappointed and dissatisfied. Do better kmart!
