   Rang today expecting they would be to busy to answer. Got Richard who was so helpful, went and checked storeroom, then located the item behind counter for me. Great customer service and then when I went in and brought and left he was on the door checking items and recalled our conversation due to the item I brought. Best service I've had at Kmart. Thankyou and Merry Christmas.

   Used to live in Hamilton and happy to say that this is the first time I have seen this Kmart’s shelves well stocked! Christmassy products already in store which i think is great. Parking is okay, if you have a bigger vehicle sometimes going in and out of the parking space can get a bit of a struggle esp if you come at a really busy time.

   On 27/09/25 between 12–2pm I was in store looking for some birthday supplies and overheard a woman at the exit scanning receipts. She greeted every single person leaving with such politeness and the best attitude! By the time I left, I was genuinely excited just to hear her farewell. Please recognise how great of an asset she is to the team — customer service like that makes such a difference ◡̈

   Friendly staff. It is a big store but easy to find whatever you are looking for. Parking is easy with under ground parks. Located in the heart of Hamilton. The main transport hub for the cities public transport is handy. Just across the road. Open till midnight. Disability parking spaces are available.

   One of the worst Kmart in nz. Staff (particularly a senior lady staff) pretended not to see and hear when customers needed help. Reluctantly moved her body and walked just 1 metre distance to assist, what kinda great customer service. If you don’t want the job, there will be people willing to work harder than you. Will file a formal complaint to the management.

   This is the third time I’ve been here this week and every single time the makeup section is out of EVERYTHING and looks like an absolute garbage dump. Items littering the bottom of the shelves and floor. Every time I have checked online and the website says “in stock”… BS. I’ve come here for the same products many times the past few months and have had to resort to going elsewhere or ordering online. Each time I come in I never see more than one staff member frantically running around, so I do not blame the staff. You need to hire more staff urgently. In the past I always had great experiences here but it’s gone so downhill

   Brilliant value, great selection in most departments, but we always end up spending more than planned as there ate so many great household items and clothing goodies to buy. Parking can be a bit tight here if the store is really busy but we always find a space. Tried 'click and collect' recently and it worked a treat.

   Big, cheap, slightly depressing. Only self-service checkouts operating when I visited, I'm not even sure whether they have checkouts with real people. Staff were few and far between. Overall I think I prefer to get my cheap stuff from The Warehouse.
