   Botany Kmart is terrible. Went there to view xmas decorations, but noticed that although they had a tiny section for xmas items, trees and wreaths along with other items were scattered all over the store, not by customers but by staff. Wreaths and garlands were by womens clothing, on the opposite side of the store were most of the xmas items. By shoes were baubles. almost every 4 isles had big stack of xmas items. So hard to run around the whole store as it was busy and messy. Wasn't enough staff to keep the store tidy. Management is non existent. Looking at past reviews and reddit, complaints seem to be the same. Unorganized and messy.

   I went to the store this afternoon to grab a drawer liner, but to my surprise, I found a big mirror I’d been searching for everywhere, it was finally in stock! I knew I had to get it before it was gone again. The floor staff, Lei and her two colleagues, were amazing. They helped me bring the mirror to the checkout and even assisted me in loading it into my car. I’m really grateful for their help. Thank you, Lei, and the other two staff members whose names I didn’t catch, I truly appreciate your excellent service!

   The Main Cashier There was a Lady Dealing with my Change. The lady that was Serving me called out to her Work Colleague to Get some Coin change because there was not enough Coins and the other lady that went to go get my change took so long as I was waiting I looked over to the other side she was chitchatting with another Work Colleague but I was waiting there like she had no customer Waiting at the counter. I was really disappointed today Shopping at the Kmart Botany Store . I wasn’t only angry but my partner was also angry because he was told to come back with the vacuum when I have already bought it. The lady at the entrance scanning the receipts said he was stealing but he wasn’t. This store is missing Time Management and Communication. Overall Rating for Today is a 2/100 .

   While shopping at Kmart today, I overheard a staff meeting led by the manager. Instead of being uplifting or motivating, it came across as very negative and disheartening. The manager repeatedly used the phrase about “being on the bus or getting off the bus,” which sounded more like a threat than encouragement. Essentially, the message was that if staff weren’t meeting expectations, they should consider leaving. The way it was delivered didn’t inspire teamwork or enthusiasm — it felt heavy, dismissive, and draining. As a customer, it was uncomfortable to witness, and I could see why staff might struggle to feel motivated in that kind of environment. Good leadership should bring energy, positivity, and support to a team. What I witnessed today was the opposite, and it affected not only the staff but also the atmosphere for customers. I truly hope Kmart considers investing in leadership that lifts people up rather than wearing them down.

   Had a terrible interaction with one of your workers earlier today, Adriana. She had reddish box dyed hair. She was extremely rude and short with me whilst I was trying to transfer money onto my card. She asked me rudely to get out of the way because I was taking too long. On that note there was no line at all and there where many self serve checkouts available. Very disappointed with her customer service. But other then that all other staff where friendly, patient and approachable unlike Adriana with the red/ black hair.

   Try to buy a jacket and need assistance approve. Assistance Asian (maybe chinese) lady just stand there and talk with a guy (not customer). even she saw me try to get help. She just ignore it. Should be help the customer not talking with colleagues. AUG16

   Edit [email protected] Tuesday 20th June 2023. Useless kmart girl doing "security" near the door with fake eyelashes. Too busy on the phone, not doing her work. Probably alot of thiefs under her watch. Should be a dishwasher. Original review: Can be messy and it often says stock available here online but when you get here....nothing!. The staff here overall is a little better than the staff at Sylvia Park and Manukau branches.

   I visited Thu 4/5 8:30pm arrived to a tidy, fully stocked store, friendly staff,everywhere I looked the staff that night were busy ensuring their allocated areas were stacked neatly and removing items that didn't belong there. Thank your for an easy night sorting last minute birthday things. I'm impressed - well done to Kmart team that night whomever was in charge that night should have their process rolled out to all Kmart stores especially Kmart Sylvia Park this store always has empty shelves and very messy.

   I was impressed by the fact that this is the first Kmart I visit and it looks so messy… Never seen a Kmart like this before. Shelves were almost empty in other sections as well as the whole store was like this. I only took some photos of the lingerie section. Hopefully they will clean up soon :(
