“Excellent and efficient contact… I was referred for concussion and Sufian my therapist was kind, caring, very knowledgeable and empathetic.”
“Dr. Ho She is a very professional and kind doctor. We are very grateful to have such a good GP to take care of us.”
“I have received excellent treatment here which have included rigorous consultations, stretching & strengthening programs, massage and follow up phone calls investigating ways to fine tune and improve my health for the immediate and for the long term. Thank you so much :). Recommended!”
“Was served yesterday by a lovely doctor and nurse Harriet (hope that’s how I spell her name) Sister is absolutely terrified of needles and is very prone to panic attacks and it’s the best experience so far with my sister. Best experience with needles so far, didn’t even realise she had multiple needle pricks throughout the removal of the lesion, that’s how great Harriet was (also the doctor). Would recommend! and not to mention the fact that Harriet was also so lovely (also very funny) Thank you so much for giving my sister a lovely experience despite her nervs.”
“Outstanding! I booked a free veins assessment with Daryl. She was very warm, welcoming yet thorough and knowledgeable. Would certainly recommend to anyone with vein concerns :))”

“After consecutive miscarriages we came to FA to have testing done in order to find some answers. We had an appointment booked with Dr Simon Kelly, and they arranged an extensive panel of bloods & other tests to be done prior to coming in. I suprisingly fell pregnant the week before our appointment so Dr Kelly put me on medication to help hold the pregnancy and have just given birth to a beautiful healthy baby! While we can’t say for sure if it was the medication that helped this time or just pure luck, it gave us peace of mind & hope. I had asked my gp for these meds previously and was dismissed. Dr Kelly was kind, compassionate and really listened to us. It was the first time i felt heard in 2 years and we would highly recommend FA to others struggling with infertility”
“I’ve been using Family Planning services for over a decade, I’ve never had any issues. In fact I prefer seeing the nurses here for my contraceptive prescriptions rather than my GP. The staff are always helpful with trying to accommodate me for an appointment. It’s helpful having the phone appointments for every other appointment.”
“Great and friendly staff-members there, quick services, and, disable access as well!:)))”
“My husband was given excellent care at N/S ED on Saturday the 28th of September. He saw Kate (Nurse Practitioner intern)! Kate was amazing and she gave very professional care, attention and showed empathy! My husband understood everything that he was told which put his mind at rest! Well done! Kind regards, Alison & Derek Hobbs”

“I am so grateful to the nurses and doctors at the facility. They are truly lovely. Today, my child was very tired and did not have an appointment. I was very worried. Luckily, the nurse and doctor agreed to see my daughter. I am very grateful to the medical team here. Thanks you so much”
“I visited White Cross - St Lukes on the 12th Sept. From the time I arrived, everything was perfect. Sue at the front desk greeted me with a smile & was very friendly & helpful. The nurse was great & Dr Brandon Tsang was excellent. They went over my issues with "a fine tooth comb" and I walked out highly satisfied and pleased with the treatment I was given. From walking in to leaving, it would have only been 45 min to an hour max. Great work White Cross - St Lukes!! 10/10.”
“North Shore Hospital I recently had an extended stay at North Shore Hospital, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire team. From the moment I was admitted, the staff were incredibly caring and attentive. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Every nurse, doctor, and support staff member showed genuine compassion, and it was clear they really cared about my recovery. I’m incredibly grateful for their professionalism and kindness during a pretty tough time. Huge thanks to everyone there, you all made a big difference! Definitely a five-star experience. Thanks, Caleb”

“I want to express my complete gratitude to the emergency department team and the nurses in the Rangtira ward. We went in thinking one thing, but were quickly rushed in where 3 drs and 5 nurses worked so quickly to help our little boy start to breathe again. I know that’s your job, but he is our life, and we can’t thank you enough ❤️ once in recovery, Erica, a nurse in the Rangitira ward was so accommodating and caring and natural, that it made our stressful time there easy. Health professionals don’t get enough gratitude. They have a real job that actually matter. Thanks guys and girls. Love you all ❤️❤️❤️”
“DR ALTIKRITY WASAN IS wonderful, she look after patients as a mum. Really glad to have as my doctor. Thanks local doctors to appointed her”
“I understand what people say about the White Cross Northmed receptionists, but personally, I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them so far. It takes a little time to build that connection, but once you do, there’s friendly banter and lighthearted jokes that make visits more enjoyable. The real gem of this clinic though is Dr. Yulia. She gives her absolute 100% every time, going above and beyond as a GP. She listens, she cares, and she makes you feel truly seen and heard. This kind of GP doesn’t come around often, so she’s someone worth appreciating!”
“We walked in this morning for my baby to see a doctor, I was very grateful to Melanie for accommodating us promptly. She was so nice and offered all the help I need including carrying my baby while filling up my transferral form. And doctor Pang was easy to talk to and gave us the right medication right away. Everything went in smoothly, and I couldn’t be more thankful.❤️”
“I think within this service it's all about who you get. They do have a high turn over of staff (I've been in the service for 3 and a half years and have had 5 case managers and 4 psychiatrists). I think within the service you also have to advocate for yourself as best as possible and if your case manager and/or psychiatrist isnt helping you request to change your team. My last case worker and psychiatrist were people who just weren't a good fit for me so I requested to change my whole team and now I'm being I have an incredibly good relationship with my case worker and psychiatrist. In terms of who you need to have a good relationship with its definitely first and foremost your case worker as they are the ones you have the most interaction with. I'm sorry to hear of all the negative experiences people have had within the service and I could definitely see that being the case. The service definitely could be better. But I'm just lucky my experience has been a pretty satisfactory one. For case managers Filly (though I'm not sure if she still is in that role) and Taryn are INCREDIBLE and have helped me immensely and always advocated for me in terms of voicing how I was feeling to other services when I wasnt strong enough to do so. I saw that someone posted a negative review about the psychiatrist Ingrid, I've found her to be the best psychiatrist I've had so far, soft spoken and asks all the right questions. In terms of groups, I've been in 4 throughout my time and have found them to be helpful both in the social aspect (where I have met some great people) and in their content. Sure, some of the groups I havent found were helpful for me, but when that was the case I still went for the social aspect and learning different skills/gaining knowledge even if so far I havent found information for that particular group helpful. Being a patient within different public services before I kind of knew where my expectations needed to be and they've lived up to that. Being a public service their resources are stretched THIN so for what they are given by the DHB funding wise, I think they are doing the best job they can with what they have been given which is something that I feel should be recognized.”
“The staff are amazing very friendly and helpful”
“I want to express my sincere thanks to Dr Ravi Narang for promptly diagnosing the real issue. Confirming it was gout and not a fracture ensured I received the right treatment, which helped relieve my pain quickly. Thank you.”
“Considering the nightmare time of year with most doctors shut down, the service we received was unbelievably good. Dr Nikki was so thorough and I really thought she went the extra mile to check my daughter was getting the right tests and had the best review of what the next steps were- she listened , she took her time to ensure all the right tests were undertaken and having been in the hospital system with my daughter a lot in her younger years I was so impressed by the care Nikki and the nurses gave us. Outstanding!!”
“We had a great first-time experience at Local Doctors – Dannemora. Had an appointment booked for my sick daughter at 2:30pm and we arrived a bit early, around 2:15. The reception staff were very kind and accommodating, even with a simple task like finding my daughter’s name in the system, made us feel welcomed. We were assisted shortly after by a friendly and caring Filipino nurse, Bless, who took my daughter’s vital stats with warmth and professionalism. At 2:30pm, we were seen by Dr. Alaa, who was incredibly humble, accommodating, and kind. She treated my daughter so gently and took the time to explain her condition clearly and in a reassuring manner. The visit was efficient, compassionate, and professional from start to finish. I truly appreciate the care we received and would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to others. Thank you to the wonderful team at Local Doctors – Dannemora for making our first visit such a positive experience!”
“I went on friday morning, reached at 7.46am and saw a long que. There was probably 15 people in front of me. Was my first time there. I had to come here bcuz my gp gave me 2 weeks from now appointment and i need to see doc urgently for my bad cough. I always had a long wait experience with any local doctors before so you'd understand my expectation with them. I asked the receptionist how long is the waiting time and she said shouldnt be too long bcuz they have more doctors today, i sat and waited. Nurse called me after 40mins of waiting which is pretty quick i would say considering 15 peoples ahead of me ( i used to wait almost 2 hrs just to see nurse). And the nurses were very efficient and quick. I can tell they were doing their best to accomodate patients. So then i waited around 30more mins and met the doc. Doctor was very attentive and he explained every single thing that i should know about my pain which im so happy about. I know everyone wont be always having a positive experience there but atleast im glad mine was smooth when i know i came while being very sick. Thanks to the entire team, worked really well!”
