   I came here today to get my China contraceptive ring. A foreigner female doctor helped me get it. She was very professional and patient. She explained everything to me. My English was poor. There was a Chinese-speaking telephone translator who helped me successfully complete the process of letting the doctor know about me. I was very lucky and happy. I am very grateful to the foreigner female doctor who helped me get the ring. I am sorry that I didn't remember her name. I am grateful to all the staff here for making me a confident girl again.

   Waited 2 months for an IUD insertion appointment, they cancelled 2 hours before the appointment and then couldn’t reschedule for another 2 months. So frustrated knowing if I would have just gone private I would have had it sorted months ago. Just be aware they have no contingency for cancelled appointments.

   I’ve been using Family Planning services for over a decade, I’ve never had any issues. In fact I prefer seeing the nurses here for my contraceptive prescriptions rather than my GP. The staff are always helpful with trying to accommodate me for an appointment. It’s helpful having the phone appointments for every other appointment.

   Opening hours Monday to Friday 0830-1700 My issue I work 0700-0700 Monday to Friday, but no worries, their hours are 0900-1300 on Saturday. Yet when I arrived at 0920…. Closed…. Not very helpful if your service is going to be closed during given opening hours

   I hate trying to call in all the time and waiting is just too long..especially when your running out of credits to call in..at least have a free number for the people to call through.. the waiting on line for someone to answer is just way too long..

   Receptionist was rude she asked if I have a community service card or if i'm a hard worker like what is that suppose to mean? You can be a hard worker with or without a community service card and its not like it made any difference with the price smh if you are going be a receptionist have respect. Anyways the nurse was nice and very helpful.

   One of the rare places that actually provides you with care rather than just services. So much nicer than the papakura branch where you are treated like an inconvenience and talked down to like a child. Kind, knowledgeable staff who never pressure you or rush you out the door and always take the time to explain things to you and make sure your needs are met.
