Was served yesterday by a lovely doctor and nurse Harriet (hope thatβs how I spell her name) Sister is absolutely terrified of needles and is very prone to panic attacks and itβs the best experience so far with my sister. Best experience with needles so far, didnβt even realise she had multiple needle pricks throughout the removal of the lesion, thatβs how great Harriet was (also the doctor). Would recommend! and not to mention the fact that Harriet was also so lovely (also very funny) Thank you so much for giving my sister a lovely experience despite her nervs.

Shop around! After spending a significant amount of money for a 5 min 'consult' was quoted an exorbitant figure to have a lesion removed. Went to another provider and had the lesion removed with great care and service for half the cost quoted at Skin Institute. Still annoyed with myself for not shopping around first, lesson learned!

Just had Cosmelan treatment done one week ago by Aimee and I can see incredible results already like I've never experienced with any other treatment ( and I had few laser, ipls etc). Aimee is highly experienced, knowledgeable and I felt in good hands immediately. Cosmelan is not cheap but if you are after extraordinary results I believe its worth it and this is the place to get it done with Aimee highly recommend

I called today to get an appt w/ a dermatologist that would be covered by sthrn cross. I was told they were booked until May... but offered and appt w/ a doctor that was not an easy-pay sthrn cross- so I would have to pay & sthrn cross would repay me. I made the appt. Then called sthrn cross who tell the doctor is simply a GP who is charging over $300.00 for a dermatology appt. I called the office back again and spoke with the reception who now tells me the next available appt is late July. I smell a rat!!!! I will not be coerced into seeing an overpriced GP. I will not be in waiting until July. It's back to the drawing board to find a REAL dermatologist in an ethical office.

Excellent service at the Northwest clinic. Aimee and the team went out of their way to ensure my products arrived on time. And I highly recommend the cosmelan treatment. Great job ladies!

If you want products shoved down your throat then this is the place to go. About a year ago I went into their Ponsonby branch to see one of the doctors about a skin regime that would help with my skin health. When I arrived, I clearly told the doctor that I did not wish to take or use any medication such as Roaccutane - for the rest of the hour during my appointment I had information shoved down my throat as to why that medication was safe to take and I walked out with a topical script containing roaccutane or a smilar product which I threw away and never returned. I find that exceptionally unprofessional and unethical for a doctor to shove a product down a patients throat that they do not wish to take when there are so many other options. Subsequently, I have gone to a different provider where I am being treated as one would expect to be treated by a professional organisation - Iβve needed to stock up on my face care they have prescribed to me and unfortunately Skin Institute is the closest to my home that stock some of the products - I went in there this morning to pick up exactly what I needed, I spent 10mins in their North West store while again an employee tried to shove products down my throat and change/add to the treatment plan prescribed to me by my face therapist without knowing the details of the plan Iβm currently on and the details of the in therapy treatments that I am undergoing and what the subsequent impact of changing or adding products would have. I repeatedly told the lady that I was happy with the plan that I was on and that I was not permitted to change it and she continued push the products she thought I should purchase. Absolutely shameful!
