   I have had several treatments at skin institute Remuera and it has always been an excellent experience from start to finish. Reception team are lovely, welcoming and efficient. I have seen Jo and Marney recently, both of whom were caring and very professional and I have been delighted with the results.

   I highly recommend this provider if you 1) want to have your test results temporarily withheld because the provider is checking additional charges related to your service ONLY AFTER you’ve paid and received the treatment, 2) want to receive multiple calls MONTHS AFTER your treatment, still asking for additional documentation and associated extra payment without any transparent communication about the exact charge or specific reason for it and despite you already having provided this documentation months prior, and 3) want to deal with staff who is completely oblivious to the fact that any of the above might be unprofessional or unjustified, even claiming patient information and eligibilities are not their responsibility and thus not carefully checked at the time of the treatment at their institute. So highly recommend this provider if you’re up for this.

   Came here for a skin check. Had to wait longer because the lady at the reception forgot to mark me as arrived in the system - mistakes happen. The Dermoscopist was nice but the check felt a bit rushed, compared to others I had before. Despite me booking a promotion for $129 they tried to charge me $159 at first. Overall not great value for 15mins.

   They cut too many corners on quality by trying to see multiple patients at a time and even scribbled out lines on their aftercare procedures so they don't have to give out aftercare products (even if it is a few extra plasters), and justify their methods each time I've turned up and complained. I had moles removed and a 1-2mm cyst removal. On both occasions they said I had been booked incorrectly and rushed me to surgery within 2 minutes. My cyst removal was completed in less than 3 minutes with an incision over 1cm, and it's now 2 cysts under the surface and a keletoid scar. Instead of giving me small plasters for my tiny wound, they gave me only one 10cmx3cm large gauze that immediately got bloody and told me I couldn't change it for a week. When I complained it was disgusting telling someone to wear something big and bloody on their throat for a week in public and at work, they blamed the public and blamed me for my vanity. Emergency departments don't even do that to people, so I was not expecting that from an appearance clinic. For these reasons I would recommend finding another practice who operates safely and with respect to their patients.

   I was booked in with a nurse regarding fillers to fix a droopy eyelid. It took more than 30 mins to drive to my 3:15pm Friday appointment only for the nurse to say I had to see one of their doctors because it is a high risk treatment... none of which were available to see me. I told the receptionist what I wanted so he should've known to book me with a doctor. I'm not going to do treatments where they can't even book me with the right people!

   Would give zero stars if I could. After doing my due diligence and received acceptance from the clinic, just to be then rejected because I asked for clarification on the surgical cost. The clinic staff felt challenged by this and terminated my appointment before the appointment could even take place a odd reason (clinic feels no longer comfortable to do the procedure) never mind the fact that this procedure is one that they would do on a typical day. I am now forced to start the process over again by seeking an alternative provider. Would highly recommend not going to this clinic unless you want your time wasted… If the procedure I was going in for was going to be complicated or required specialist surgery one could understand in referred elsewhere, but mine isn’t. So being rejected doesn’t make sense…
