Considering the nightmare time of year with most doctors shut down, the service we received was unbelievably good. Dr Nikki was so thorough and I really thought she went the extra mile to check my daughter was getting the right tests and had the best review of what the next steps were- she listened , she took her time to ensure all the right tests were undertaken and having been in the hospital system with my daughter a lot in her younger years I was so impressed by the care Nikki and the nurses gave us. Outstanding!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABY HERE… Nurses are great but doctor was useless! Our whole stay was 5 hours only to be referred to Middlemore with no conclusion.. We literally went Nurse -> Doctor, who can’t simply get a dose of paracetamol to us, so -> back to nurse queue waiting we go -> Back to doctor, but paracetamol hadnt been digested yet due to queue timing, nor temp taken (which the bloody doctor could have done??) -> so back to nurse -> back to doctor! 3x in the nurse/doctor queue, we were there 3x longer with a fussy crying baby than any other patient before us… Doctor did NOTHING to help - useless service! Thank you to the kind nurses though.

GO SOMEPLACE ELSE! This is not an urgent care facility, they have no urgency about them, nor do they care. Dr.Lily Shue is as compassionate as a jackhammer, she is obviously tired and burned out, but at this point i doubt even taking a break would help her be what she is supposed to be. She dismissed all symptoms and was more interested in using false justifications about my whereabouts rather than my symptoms. After waiting 2 hours, every concern was dismissed nothing but gaslighting ensued, because obviously, they just want your money, since nothing will come of going there, and you will just end up waiting in the ER at Auckland hospital anyway. Whatever motivated Lily to become a doctor was not compassion or a desire to help the afflicted. For the hundreds of dollars they rinse you for there, you would expect some degree of service, but they are well past even trying to maintain the appearance of a health facility. Do not expect any of the things you read on the walls to apply except for the costs, a lighter wallet will be all you will achieve coming here. This place needs to be audited, it needs competition to force them to be better, it needs new management, AND above ALL, it needs new doctors. Better to die with a few more purple notes in your wallet than to give it to these grifters.

Worst experience ever. First of all not to be rude but the OLD lady receptionist was extremely freaking rude, I don’t think she should be working here, patients are already worried and her attitude, the way she talks, all of it was unacceptable. You took 280 dollars + $55 for an ECG ??? The nurse was ok didn’t smile. But the wait ??? It was more than 4 hours and we were told that 2 doctors were present but saw only one working! This is unprofessional and I believe this place shouldn’t be called urgent care … there was no care whatsoever. Some with high BP should be looked after. Please stop taking our money, and start working urgently rather than making us waste our precious time and money and energy. I would have talked back to the rude receptionist but due to her age I held back. Hope no one is in the position to go here pls find some other place. NZ do better with your healthcare system.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service my wife received at White Cross Ascot 24/7 on Sunday, August 6, 2023. I arrived at the clinic at 01:00 PM with a severe tonsils pain. I was triaged after 03 hours wait and told that I would be seen by a doctor shortly. However, I ended up waiting for over 6 hours to see a doctor. In that time, I saw several patients who came after me be seen and released. The staff at the clinic were careless and not empathetic . They were dismissive of my concerns and made me feel like I was wasting their time. When I asked why I was waiting so long, they gave me vague answers and told me just to wait. I was eventually seen by a doctor at 07:00 PM. I am very disappointed with the service I received at White Cross Ascot 24/7. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Dr. Chaudhry not recommended, we went to urgent care at around 6pm and waited till 7.30pm to meet him. He gave the least attention, didn't listen to the patient history properly, recorded incorrect information and gave wrong medicines. Take extra care when you visit him, he is very distracted and no attention towards patient.

I would have been better off taking my little sister to hospital. She has asthma and was struggling with breathing and she was triaged and told there were 4 people ahead of us to see the doctor at 8.15pm. I reiterated to the receptionist that her breathing was worsening at 11.10pm and then again at 12am. We were eventually seen at 2.15am by the doctor. We were the last people seen of our cohort with at least 9 people seen before us- even other patients who came after us apologised for being seen earlier, even tho it very obviously wasn’t their fault. By the time we were seen, my sister’s breathing was incredibly wheezy, the ventolin she was given made very little difference (we told both the doctor and the nurse she had been using her ventolin inhaler to no success) & ran to the bathroom for 2minutes to have a coughing fit. The doctor was adamant he would see her after the next patient while she was finishing up in the bathroom. I had to insist she would be seen now (she was out about 20 seconds later anyway). We have a lot more information about the experience and have sought the advice of other doctors to file an HDC complaint. If you are seeking urgent care, or suffer from breathing problems, we would recommend going anywhere else, the hospital would probably even provide faster service. I never write reviews, but I was astounded by the service we received and the ‘care’ we received by Dr Schneibel. I feel for any healthcare worker who is under a huge amount of stress at the moment, but by all accounts, this treatment was beyond the pail.

I took my 18 month son who had high fever. Even though the nurse or any staff would not put any urgency on it. Why call it "urgent care".We waited more than 5 hours with a baby who had high fever. Hopeless service. Worst in nz. The indian receptionist was very rude and busy gossiping with her colleagues... either upgrade your staff or add more doctors. The whole team needs a change over.

If you really have an emergency please still consider other options. Long wait with my 3 years old child and then doctor wasn't really friendly. We were just another patient to get rid for the. . I'll definitely think twice before going there for any medical issue
