Dr Kazi Mahmud was very good. He was insightful and we had a pleasant conversation. The wait time over the phone is atrocious, and the receptionist I spoke to was rude and disinterested in what I needed. Absolutely horrible experience!

This used to be a good doctors practice - Dr Prabhu Pandey was exceptional - actually listened and wanted to help you. He left and no other Dr i have encountered gives a F. You book an appt and you are waiting at least 40 minutes - an hour after your booked time, when you see the Dr they rush you and you're out of there within 5 minutes... The last time i went i was told i had a virus and to rest, 3 days later i had to go back and turns out i had a throat and chest infection, wouldve been better a lot quicker had the original dr actually done her job. I had to pay for two visits to the dr just to get antibiotics and an actual anwser. RUBBISH SERVICE. Bring back Dr Pandey!!

I’m extremely disappointed with the service provided by the front desk staff. They appear very lazy, unprofessional, and consistently fail to inform patients about waiting times upon arrival. Despite having a booked appointment, I was made to wait without any explanation or communication. When I inquired, I received no clear answer. This is not the first time I’ve faced this issue’s I had previously raised a complaint with the doctor, but unfortunately, nothing has changed. The lack of improvement shows a serious gap in customer service and accountability. I sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior and performance of the front desk team. Patients should be treated with respect and courtesy—not like they're being done a favor. Clear communication, timely updates, and basic professionalism are the minimum expectations.lastly they should be talking in English not in their native language and not talking about their personal lives at desk

We had a great first-time experience at Local Doctors – Dannemora. Had an appointment booked for my sick daughter at 2:30pm and we arrived a bit early, around 2:15. The reception staff were very kind and accommodating, even with a simple task like finding my daughter’s name in the system, made us feel welcomed. We were assisted shortly after by a friendly and caring Filipino nurse, Bless, who took my daughter’s vital stats with warmth and professionalism. At 2:30pm, we were seen by Dr. Alaa, who was incredibly humble, accommodating, and kind. She treated my daughter so gently and took the time to explain her condition clearly and in a reassuring manner. The visit was efficient, compassionate, and professional from start to finish. I truly appreciate the care we received and would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to others. Thank you to the wonderful team at Local Doctors – Dannemora for making our first visit such a positive experience!

Garbage service, garbage receptionists, poor wait times. I made two appointment bookings for my parents at 12:30pm and 12:45pm. We arrived here before 12:30pm, only to be told there's an hour wait on appointment patients. How is there over an hour delay for bloody prebooked appointments?? There's 6 other walk in patients here, 4 doctors and couple of nurses, so tell me how the appointment service is behind?? I can understand a delay for walk in patients, but if you have an appointment service, you should honour that. A 10-15 minute delay could be understandable if an appointment ran late; however, over an hour is unacceptable. I stopped coming to this garbage local Doctors clinic a few years ago because of how poorly they treat patients and their ridiculous delays, and it doesn't seem like much has changed. The only reason we came here today is because the Sylvia Park clinic is closed today. The receptionists are cold and crap at their jobs. Their signature line is to tell people there's a 1-3 hour delay, and then they sit on their phones for ages (as pictured below). There's no further communication about when you'll see a nurse or if the wait times are changing, or how far in the queue you are. We had to ask the receptionist a few times how far along things are moving. The Indian receptionist sitting on the left is an cold and rude, and doesn't speak with people with respect. She's worked here for a really long time and apparently she hasn't picked up any customer service skills. She has a bad attitude and needs to find employment that doesn't require her to speak to people. The receptionists also play favourites and have patients that they know be seen first, despite other patients waiting before them for a very long time. We met another patient who has been waiting for two hours, who had several other walk in patients go ahead of him that came in after he did. My parents were finally seen by a nurse an hour later (who was fine, but seemed new to the role), and then had to wait longer to see the doctor. Thankfully the doctor my parents saw was alright, but wasn't exceptional. However, this clinic has had quite a few bad doctors. This clinic needs a staffing overhaul. Absolutely awful customer service, with a lack of patient care.

Receptionist chat and laugh to each other whilst there is a line of patients waiting to be checked in - rude and unprofessional, PLEASE FIND PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY LIKE THEIR JOB. Secondly, there is nearly always only one doctor on site, you wait hours to see him for a generic response like ‘here’s some antibiotics’ over and over again. Plenty of times I have suffered in pain as the wait times were either 4-5 hours or they could not take any more patients.

I am not a person usually who writes reviews like this unless its a very very bad experience. I would not recommend anyone to visit this clinic. I had a head and back injury, from past 2-3 weeks i tried to call and the wait time is upto 90 mins, then if u choose the option to recieve a call back, you would not recieve a call back in this life. If you decide to walk in like me, they open at 8:00, it happened twice on a week day i went there 8:30 and they turned me back as they have enough patients for today (10-12 i counted). But if u have a lucky day, you will be welcomed to see a doctor and will be asked to wait for only 4-5 hours. So after 4-5 attempts was made to see a doctor, I ended up going to Otara Local doctors as i had no choice. Guys, Refer to other reviews too, they all feel so accurate.

I agree with a the review posted recently. No racism intended but I have been into this clinic twice this week..and the review below is absolutely right, Indians do go first! even if they arrive an hour or 2 after you! Wait times are ridiculous, even with an appointment which i did have. Whats the point of a scheduled appointment if you still have to sit and wait for ages like a "walk in" and then watch people go before you, who literally just walked in. Currently trying to find a different medical center. Even though i have been with this medical center for 20+ years. You can see how this medical center runs, it sticks out like a sheep's balls. You only need to attend it and see for yourself.

The staff are lovely, the nurses take great care of the patients & the Drs are all very good at what they do. The waiting times are awful. The seating is a bit uncomfortable & could be improved given that patients are waiting in between 1-3 hrs at times. A tv on the wall could be a great help to all & so would free wifi. The admin can be improved if prior appointments are booked in advance except for unplanned walk ins. They have additional dental & pharmacy & physio under the same roof. The place needs a bit of tlc but is good overall & deserves 5 stars after some of the above improvements. Children feel bored as there is nothing to distract them like tv. So most of the parents would appreciate something like a tv shows g some child related content, interspaced with medically educational content for the general patients & probably some adverts to break the monotony of waiting for hour/s etc. The charges are most reasonable & quite moderate & very much affordable in general for GP visits, follow up treatments, wound dressing & other nurse related duties like injections, etc. A word of thanks to all the Drs, nurses, & medical admin staff as they do a wonderful job under the circumstances looking after all manner of patients. Well done you all! Cheers.
