“Got there for a tonsillectomy for the son, everything was incredibly smooth, considerate and organised since the first call, throught to filling forms, receiving instructions from the admission and anesthetist to getting to the hospital. On the day, we received the best treat ever, the entire process was easy and guided, doctor was skilled and experienced, we were discharged after 4 hours with the kid drinking and eating close to normally, on top of that, they called me on the next day to check in....overall, was phenomenal, should be a role model for the other medical services providers in New Zealand.”

The entire staff from Lilly on the front desk (reminding me to bring food so I didn't stave all day), Ian with the pre opp tests and walk through of the procedures, Dr Mora for the final explanations and carrying out the procedure, and the Nurses (Anna and I didnt catch the other ladies name sorry) for setting me up and looking after me afterwards. And last but not least Stuart for doing the post op check and telling me not to show off with my new vision by trying to read the better than 20/20 line haha. Overall fantastic experience and interactions with all the staff. The worst part was putting the eye clamps in, that was a brief but rather horrible feeling. Eyes are recovering well, still get a bit sore with too much screen time, as to be expected 4 days after surgery.”

“I get very anxious about hospital procedures and I did let the staff know prior. They were absolutely amazing from the front desk to the caterers, drs and of course the nurses! Everyone was so pleasant and professional. We all hear stories about hospital food however the hamburger I ordered was far more superior than the one I brought a few weeks ago in a well known cafe. It seems a little macabre to recommend a hospital but the team here are wonderful.”

“After consecutive miscarriages we came to FA to have testing done in order to find some answers. We had an appointment booked with Dr Simon Kelly, and they arranged an extensive panel of bloods & other tests to be done prior to coming in. I suprisingly fell pregnant the week before our appointment so Dr Kelly put me on medication to help hold the pregnancy and have just given birth to a beautiful healthy baby! While we can’t say for sure if it was the medication that helped this time or just pure luck, it gave us peace of mind & hope. I had asked my gp for these meds previously and was dismissed. Dr Kelly was kind, compassionate and really listened to us. It was the first time i felt heard in 2 years and we would highly recommend FA to others struggling with infertility”
