    Terrible small waiting room for 10+ people Staff seem indifferent. Exactly what they told us was a risk to health 10am 20 min wait.

    Very bad experience. Been for blood test this morning. Phillipines staff ( Mid 45 age) was so racist. First she puncture my right hand vein , was not able to take sample, then she puncture left hand vein too. Also left me in middle for mask, even she was not using mask while taken sample for another white peoples, I was not cold or any another symptoms. After test she rubbish mask and taken another patient without mask. Also opening windows in middle of test like I am curry eater. So rude and shameful. Will request to Awanui labs to take serious action on this. Never happened like this in the past at this lab.

    We brought our little girl here for a blood test. When it was her turn, the nurses seemed like they did not want to perform it--they passed her along until one of them finally agreed to do it. Our daughter obviously was scared to have it done, and the nurse practitioner's bedside manner did not help at all. He seemed annoyed that our daughter kept moving and crying, while my husband and I tried our best to pacify her and keep her still. He just stood there in one corner, making unhelpful comments like "she's still moving, sir." This made the whole experience very unpleasant, and a lot more traumatic for our girl. Please have more compassion for your patients, especially the little ones who are doing these tests for the first time.

    It appeared that the Filipino male staff(Kirby) member at the reception had a very hostile attitude, as if he was angry at everyone. His behavior made me feel extremely unwelcome, as though he wanted to ensure this would be my first and last visit to the lab. It’s unfortunate, and I honestly wonder why receptionists in medical facilities in New Zealand often seem to be so unfriendly, especially when kindness and professionalism are so important in healthcare

    Unfriendly staff that made me feel unwelcome and unsatisfied. The test was rushed and the nurse tried to send me away without fully explaining the procedure. The customer service skills were non-existent. No smile, no chat, no time for showing any sign of genuine care. A very disappointing experience.

    I have a needle phobic teenager whose anxiety accelerates when having blood tests. Our phlebotomist on our visit was super amazing with her friendly, calm and slightly humorous demeanor that ensured the best experience for something extremely uncomfortable for my son. Sadly I don't remember her name but I am appreciative of the wonderful service provided.

    I met two technicians today at the lab. The first one let me know on three separate occasions that I was inconveniencing her in some way (admin related). There were associated sighs and delays. In the end she passed me to another technician who had no trouble taking my blood sample in a professional manner. I have briefly explained this to someone I know and they knew exactly who I was talking about, as they got similar treatment in the past. The Management MUST be aware of this from numerous other one star reviews. But they keep the staff member there. So, I won't be returning if I can help it.

    Terrible customer service by the trainee staff. My dad requested a copy of the blood test results to his email. This trainee staff was rude and arrogant when she had this request. She said its extra work for them asking this since our doctors had sent the blood forms online. We have been going to this place since years and found no problems until this morning when this new trainee- Ashika had hit the roof from our request.

    I had an awful experience here today. My doctor asked for the wrong test and when I tried to correct it (close to closing time) the nurse with the short frizzy hair literally rolled her eyes and told the other staff in front of me that she had to do it again cause it was wrong. When I said that I’d come back tomorrow if it was such a hassle she just responded ‘ok’. She was in the most terrible mood. Awful customer service
