“My darling Bubbles spent 3 months with Meadowfarm while I had surgery and recovered....Bubbles was very content and a happy cat and looked healthy and well cared for and I was always kept well informed as to how she was going. Highly recommend Meadowfarm.”
“The latest stage of Auckland’s SugarTree apartment complex has been recognised by the judges in the Property Council New Zealand’s Property Industry Awards 2018. SugarTree CENTRO, stage-two of the three-building complex between Nelson and Union Streets on the northern edge of the central business district won a Merit Award in the multi-unit residential property category in June 2018. Absolutely modern, comfortable apartments with lovely community! Friendly Building Management.”
“Waking distance to the harbour, nice view, well maintained and hosting couple very nice!”
“Great Cattery! Could not have wished for better service. Clean and tidy cattery with excellent care for our Charlie. Great communication and regular updates on his care. Joan was just the best - really had Charlie’s care at heart. Thanks for the great care and service.”
“1. Rose Garden Apartments has an excellent location and landscape. If you are unable to drive, I highly recommend living here! Walkable distance to Westfield Albany, supermarkets, banks, swimming pool, and gym. Public transportation is also available within the distance, with 5 different bus lines running frequent services throughout the day. 2. Not to mention the building quality of this apartment. Even though it’s only a 6 story apartment, the foundation quality is surely at its best. The durability will beat any other apartments nearby. 3. Rose Garden Apartments was most criticized in the past for its poor management. However, in 2022, the community committee replaced the body corporate manager and the building manager with the best in town. Rose Garden is now in good hands with Crockers - NZ's largest body corporate management company. Building management is taken cared for by Cadogan Facilities Management. Cadogan is an expert in Building Facilities Management, with highest qualifications and won numerous prizes with what they do. 4.Rose Garden has an amazing community that supports each other like families do. The Facebook page, WeChat group, KakaoTalk group and neighbourhood support page are available just a phone away. Whether it is you have lost or found something, you have accidentally injured yourself while home alone, or you are just a screwdriver away from finishing your home project, you will sure be able to find some help and support there.”
“Beautiful new apartments well designed and situated in a very desirable location.”
“Nesuto Newhaven is a great place to stay for a month. Everything is within walking distance including the busy retail complex and the restaurants. The manager makes sure our stay runs smoothly and makes it easy for us to extend our stay. The gym, pool and small playground add to the overall experience. Parking is also very easy to access. We had no problems cooking because the kitchen is well stocked and immaculate. We just have to bring food. Despite the first-class amenities and service, Nesuto provides excellent value for money. This makes Nesuto a great choice for longer stays. I highly recommend Nesuto newhaven for affordability, comfort, hygiene and value. I can't wait to go back!”

“We put our dog moose in there for 5days it was am emergency and they took him with no problems. When we arrived the surroundings were like a holiday camp, wow I could have stayed there. The staff were amazing and the kennels were clean big and just like a holiday home for dogs. My daughter and I were very impressed. I would definitely recommend these kennels to everyone. We live out west and the trek was well worth it.”
“Nice location, friendly staff. They had all the amenities we needed for our stay. 5min walk from Takapuna’s main areas and beach. Highly recommend!”
“Wonderfully welcoming premises and clean place to stay. Would visit again in the future. Patient staff!”
“Our family recently traveled from overseas and we stayed at this place. In our extensive travelling experience in New Zealand’s different motels at different locations this one by far has been extremely enjoyable and pleasant, especially would like to thank to the Property Manager Mr.Shailender, for providing us with the best accommodation available, thank you for being incredibly generous with your time. We do appreciate your service and thank you from everyone in our family. Highly recommend this place if anyone wants to stay in with their family.”
“We were camping there as a group. The workers that settled us in were really supportive, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Eg - provided scooters and bikes for the children to play with. There were a few changes that we made and the workers got onto it straight away, very accommodating. They provided us with what we needed and more. Nearby beach and park that children enjoyed. Highly recommend this place, and will use it again.”
“Was absolutely perfect for the need (i.e. literally 5min away from office on foot). Feels like freshly renovated, and since the area is mostly for businesses, relatively calm in the evenings.”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay recently. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Location is a good walk from the shops but super close to the beach and on the whole quite peaceful. Kitchen set up was ideal for my purposes. Parking was also fine. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I'm ever back in the area”
“Apartment was good, but a little dated. But the plus side, it had everything. For 9 nights it was a home away from home, with the residents being nice, the staff being amazing, and the facilities top notch, having a pool and gym. Laundry services in the apartment and the ability to cook simple items in your room. Located perfectly to make escaping Auckland city incredibly easy when you wish. Would definitely recommend.”
“The Edgerley Suites was literally my 'home away from home' for several months this year, and I loved it. I stayed full-time long-term for more than 5 months, and then was a part-time casual guest for about two months after that, as I went through a bit of a life transition. I did my research before I first checked in back in March, and looked at all the other comparable serviced apartment options in the Epsom / Newmarket area, and The Edgerley Suites was by far the best option. The location is excellent - walking distance to everything Broadway / Newmarket has to offer, including the massive Westfield Mall (biggest in NZ?) which has everything you could possibly need, and open late - not to mention many restaurant options in its famous "rooftop dining" space even after the shops are closed. And there's even a Post Office just at the end of the road - a rare thing these days, not to mention a dry cleaners and pretty much everything. Plus it's right between the motorway on- and off-ramps for very easy access to the motorways in all directions. For me, the convenience of just being able to walk in with a suitcase of clothes and everything was there ready to go was exactly what I needed. All units are fully furnished and equipped (including full size fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, hair drier, iron and ironing board, cutlery and crockery and most of the cookware you'll need, etc.). Far better than a hotel and way cheaper (especially for long-term stays where the price gets cheaper). I'm surprised at the reviews suggesting it's overpriced - I found it was good value for what you get, compared to the other options in the area. I'm also surprised at the reviews that question the cleanliness - that wasn't my experience at all, and I stayed in several different apartments (or "rooms") during my 7 months - one for the long-term stay but several others for the shorter stints. The cleaners will come every day if you want, like a hotel, and I found they generally did a good job. The bedding and towels were always fresh and clean (and smelling slightly of bleach so you know they've been cleaned well), and they make the beds to a top hotel standard. In 7 months I never really had cause to complain, but if ever I found something that needed attention - the excellent, and friendly staff, always attended to it right away, I never had to ask twice. The front desk / reception team were lovely, and very accommodating. And as others have said the building itself and facilities are good - sure there's no pool or gym etc. (if there were the prices would be higher), but the secure parking was great, and there are two lifts not one like some places, I never saw them out of action, and the building is only about 7 years old so up to all the current standards and regulations. Yes, in one apartment there was an issue with the pressure regulator on the hot water cylinder (common in apartments), so they put me in another room while that was fixed, then next time I went into that room sure enough it was fixed. I know they get a lot of regular and repeat guests (and I wasn't the only long-term guest while I was there), so it can't be as bad as some reviews suggest? I would happily stay there again if the need arose - and have referred colleagues and clients to them. I suggest if put off by some of the negative reviews (remember, there's a lot of competition in the area, are all those reviews legitimate?), then contact them for an "inspection" of a couple of rooms before committing, they're happy to do that. If coming from out of town, I'm sure they'd arrange a "video walk around" to see almost as good as in person. Yes some rooms have a better outlook than others - like nice quiet serene bush, or north facing for the sun but looking towards the mall and motorway flyover - but just tell them your preference and they'll try to accommodate. (the motorway was never a problem, can't hear it thru the double glazing). I was happy there for several months - so I can't see how anybody wouldn't be for just a week or a weekend!”
“We had a wonderful stay for my birthday. It’s a beautiful hotel with great staff. Our massage and sauna was excellent at the spa and sitting on the big, open balcony in the evening after a stroll on one of their bush walks was so relaxing. This was made even better by the food. The restaurant is highly recommended, especially for dinner. One of the best we’ve had for years. Can’t wait to return.”
“Rhian Lang, the on-site manager is super helpful, someone who goes an extra mile. The team is very thorough with their check in process. The park although well-located right in front of the shore, it's a pretty 'packed' as they try to squeeze for more occupancy. Very little space allowed in between parking lots hence less privacy.”
“Lovely helpful staff, rooms are well presented and very clean with comfortable beds. Lots of parking available and great location, not far from Go media stadium. Our go-to place to stay when visiting the area!”
“Look by any means this place is not super flash but I think it’s seriously good value. I stayed for 2 nights at $160 a night in the run up to Xmas. Great location, great price and a great big room with a super comfy bed. Also used the pool which was all ok. Remember to take your room towel as the day I was there none were provided. Lastly check in and staff were all good. Remember people it’s $160 NZD for a massive room in the middle of the city.”
“I stayed for two nights while delivering an event nearby and chose this hotel for its convenient location near the rail station—just outside the city but easy to access. The room was comfortable, the bed very nice, and the overall space well-kept. The property is a combined Novotel and ibis, offering a range of facilities. I also appreciated the separate café area apart from the main restaurant—an excellent spot to relax or work between commitments. Breakfast offered a good variety, and dinners were tasty, though a little on the pricey and smaller side. On Saturday night, the hotel offered a $69 NZD buffet, though I opted for the à la carte menu. The staff were genuinely lovely, and their warmth really made the stay. Overall, a comfortable and friendly stay in a convenient location—with a bit more focus on member recognition, it could be excellent.”
“Lovely Motel to stay at with comfy beds and spa bath. Nice wee kitchen with fridge including a plunge pot for that morning coffee. it’s great they run a shuttle service for pick up and drop off. Couldn’t have been happier .12/10”

“Great place to experience Yum Cha, Food is great and has good selection of Hong Kong style food for all appetites and family diet preferences. Well priced and value for money.”
“Andrea and team were absolutely brilliant assisting us with the transport of our two cats from Tauranga to Wiltshire in the UK. Communication was prompt and clear and when things went awry thanks to one of our cats picking up a flea, they sprang in to action to get everything sorted out for us, and the cats, and took great care of them when we had travel on ahead. I had lots of updates from them and felt utterly confident that the cats were in safe and caring hands. Would highly recommend.”
“You maybe greeted by Sam. He is fantastic, friendly and approachable. My stay was very comfortable, room was clean and tidy, perfect location (for me),and great affordability”
“We have had a few stays at this motel and we have to say it has always been beautifully clean, sufficiently appointed, comfortable and private. A little road noise at busy times but otherwise quiet and very pleasant to stay. Would def recommend.”
“I will try to leave the most honest opinion possible for future travelers. after having stayed in many hostels in Auckland Hit Hostel is definitely the hostel where I felt the best.. There are inevitably things that can be unpleasant like the fact of not having windows in the rooms, but the spaces common areas completely fill this gap because they make us feel like we are in a large shared accommodation/ Flat where it is easy to meet people because it is a small hostel. the staff and the types of travelers who stay there are great. The staff do their utmost to keep the place clean even if unfortunately the cleanliness of a hostel also depends on the cleanliness of the travelers staying there at a given time and these are factors that we cannot control.. In any case price/quality ratio Hit hostel is the best you can find.”
