“Nice place to stay, quiet, clean. Spacious rooms. Can have shared bathroom. The Property owner was such a kind caring person with a lovely family. Makes guests feel welcome. Close to the Beach ( right across the road ) a couple minutes walk to the township. Wifi, nice big deck to sit on. Great public transportation. I really enjoyed my time at the Manor. “Maison Blanc Lodge is an experience not to be missed. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. The Chef Ron was so talented and delivered an incredible array of delectable meals for both breakfast and dinner. The location is tranquil and always changing. I saw the fattest woodpigeon I had ever seen, and they literally fly over your head. The view at night is gorgeous. Loved the swim spa. The decor is so interesting, and the bedding was very comfortable. The fire that was lit for us each night and was certainly romantic and added ambience to the whole experience. I can highly recommend staying at Maison Blanc Lodge. Thank you Neilio & Ron. It was just what we needed.”

“We checked in late, however, Sam the Manager presented the key to our room showing how to use it. He was very helpful to us in providing a lot of information. Next day, he upgraded our room to a very nice double bed serviced apartment 2E with a nearly new washing machine , dryer, dish washer and mini fridge. The sleep quality was great. The apartment is very clean with clean sheets and towels. There was no mould or insects anywhere. The Heat pump was great and noiseless. The Hotel is located close to everything in the CBD, especially, Sky Tower, Queen st, Auckland ferry terminal and Bus Terminal to go to the Airport. There is a carpark in the ground floor ($25 per night). The Housekeeping staff were amazing, changing sheets and towels every second day. We loved staying here for 2 nights and will stay again in the future.”

“I loved my time living in this apartment building. I felt incredibly safe during my time in the building. There are security cameras throughout the property, and you need to swipe your access key multiple times just to enter or exit. I never once saw anyone trying to sneak into the building or car park, and my assigned parking spot was always respected. The building is peaceful despite being in the city, and it’s consistently clean and well maintained. The building manager was helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. As for the water bill, I never found it excessive, even with EnergyCo as the provider. The location is unbeatable — close to all motorways and within walking distance to so much. I only left because I relocated overseas, otherwise I would have happily stayed on. Sometimes reviews don’t reflect the full picture — this place was a great home for me.”
