Our family recently came from overseas and had a wonderful stay at this location. Having explored many parts of New Zealand and stayed in different motels, we found this one to be especially memorable. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Shailender for making our stay so enjoyable—your kindness and effort didn’t go unnoticed. We truly appreciate everything, and on behalf of our whole family—thank you. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely place to other families.

Our family recently traveled from overseas and we stayed at this place. In our extensive travelling experience in New Zealand’s different motels at different locations this one by far has been extremely enjoyable and pleasant, especially would like to thank to the Property Manager Mr.Shailender, for providing us with the best accommodation available, thank you for being incredibly generous with your time. We do appreciate your service and thank you from everyone in our family. Highly recommend this place if anyone wants to stay in with their family.

Dirty, uncomfortable bed and couch. No air conditioning just a standing fan. No safety latches on windows so couldn't leave windows open confidently. Hair dryer didn't work. Overall had the basic necessities but it was filthy! The manager did take my suitcase to my room, and it was close to where I needed to go

My stay at this hotel was an incredibly pleasant experience. Everything from the environment and service to the facilities was outstanding. First, the overall ambiance of the hotel was warm and welcoming. The decor was modern yet cozy, creating a relaxing atmosphere as soon as I walked in. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a soft and comfortable bed that provided excellent sleep quality. The amenities were complete, and the thoughtful details—such as ample power outlets, a lovely welcome gift, and high-quality toiletries—clearly demonstrated the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Second, the staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. From check-in to check-out, every staff member displayed a high level of service, patiently answering questions and offering helpful local travel tips, which made my trip even more enjoyable and hassle-free. The breakfast was also worth mentioning, with a rich variety of fresh and delicious options. Whether you prefer a Western-style breakfast or local specialties, there was something to satisfy every taste. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for both short stays and long-term visits. It provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and if I have the chance, I will definitely choose to stay here again!

Not entirely sure why anyone would dare call this a 4-star hotel! The manager tried to be helpful, I'll give them that, but the noise... oh, the noise. The guests below must've been having a rave, complete with door-slamming and general rowdiness until about 1am. Honestly, the soundproofing is so poor, I’m pretty sure they were hosting their party *in* my room. It was a warm night, you’d think air conditioning would be a given, but no – just a fan that sounded like a jet engine. The place is clearly well-loved (or perhaps forgotten?) – the kitchen table was practically falling apart. And the mattress? More like a glorified piece of cardboard. If I'd wanted to sleep on the floor, I could've saved myself the trouble and skipped the bed entirely.

The room was clean. Very noisy road, everything was very run down. The deck and stairs felt like they were to the point of falling down. Looked like someone was living in a van outside my room. Very over priced. I will never come back.

Rooms and bathroom are perfectly acceptable and clean. Kitchen is a bit sparse. Service is great, owner went out of his way to help with catching a taxi all the way to Palmerston North. Bit out of the way of the city center, uber required. Price was very decent compared with other hotels/rooms.

Their photos are not a true representation of the current state of the motel. It looks like it is not well cared for. There is rubbish on the grounds, the reception is used for storage, there were stains on the furniture and plaid on the bed, the towels are very thin. In short, it was ok for a night but can't say it was pleasant and I won't stay there again. (I uploaded a photo with the view of the bedroom).

Enjoyable stay at this modernised motel. The most positive difference I noticed since my last stay here 2 years ago is definitely the management change. The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Free Netflix and WiFi a welcome bonus, especially as we had 2 children with us, and with the covid lock down at the time. Friendly staff (Tony & Bella) and on site Manager Gary always kept us up to date with any changes in covid risk in the area, thank you guys. Highly recommend and hope to stay again once travel is back to normal the next time we're in Auckland... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An excellent place to be. Very good a pleasant atmosphere . The hotel is in a prime location and just loved the place. 5-7 min walking distance from mission bay beach. So many restaurants nearby. The best part was that we can cook for ourselves. The kitchen had all the required equipment. I will definitely love to stay at this beautiful place again. The pricing is fair and the quality of service was commensurate to the value for money. Thank you Regal Residency.
