“The Sunday night roast smorgasbord is a great value quality meal in a bright open plan venue. The food delivery is fast and easy to access with large numbers of customers present. Many in our group had seconds, so plenty of quality cuts of meat including roast beef, fish and pork roast were available. The deserts were excellent as was the service. We will back for our next large party event.”

“My always stay in Welly. Some rooms have been upgraded and are lovely others very tired but lovely and clean. Parking, bar and restaurant on site and a courtesy coach.”

“I used to skip this restaurant because of its low rating, but it completely surprised me — I was wrong! This is my second time trying their dim sum, and I felt compelled to write a review. The portions are generous with plenty of fillings, and everything tastes fresh and absolutely delicious. The salted egg yolk custard bun is a must-try, and the polo char siew bun were tasty. ( Sorry, the photos of the buns weren’t attached.)”

“Love this place! Super cheap and in a great location. The Grazies restaurant is really beautiful and the steak meal was beautiful. The only downfall would be the buffet breakfast which I got last time I stayed. The food was cooked great, but I was just expecting a little more variety, like scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, mushrooms etc, like what you would normally see. Definitely recommend this place the staff are really lovely too.”

“Our rabbit has been boarding at Elite Bunny Retreat for 5+ years. He is always beautifully looked after and Byndie is genuinely pleased to see him! He gets a variety of different food and the hutches are a good size allowing him to move around freely.Highly recommended for your bunny.”

“This was the nicest hotel from our holiday in NZ. From the moment we stepped in the door, service was excellent. Having a laundry machine in the room was a huge bonus to refresh our suitcase. The team take great personalised care with the dogs, no crates or cages - a real home away from home. “What a wonderful place to stay in Wellington. We stayed here for two nights and were extremely satisfied. The welcome was warm, and the owners were very friendly. The room had a private bathroom down the hall and a personal fridge in another room. All facilities were adequately provided. The owner joins you for breakfast in the morning, which always led to enjoyable conversations. The B&B also has a fantastic view of the bay; you're right by the water. We parked our car on the street near the B&B for two nights, which was safe and, of course, cost nothing. To get to Wellington Center, you'll need an Uber or taxi.”

“Nicola looked after our Lorikeet Lowri for 6 weeks, while we were overseas. Nicola looked after Lowri with kindness and interest, as well as a very professional approach. Nicola kept us in regular touch with how our pet was getting on, and put a lot of extra effort into making sure she was comfortable, had the right food and had opportunities to exercise and get some stimulation. We were delighted with the care our bird received and would certainly recommend Nicola and Creature Comforts Sanson to any bird owner.”

I appreciated the evidence of sustainable practice, including the basket of free-range eggs during breakfast. My bed was surprisingly comfortable. It's a unique venue and a delight to stay in, but Noah and the other staff were the real stars of the experience, truly exceptional!”
