“I stayed there last night and (many times before in the past) , every time Ive stayed at green gables the service was always excellent,the rooms were always excellent. I would highly recommend! Definitely going to go back and stay again!”

“Love this place! Super cheap and in a great location. The Grazies restaurant is really beautiful and the steak meal was beautiful. The only downfall would be the buffet breakfast which I got last time I stayed. The food was cooked great, but I was just expecting a little more variety, like scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, mushrooms etc, like what you would normally see. Definitely recommend this place the staff are really lovely too.”

“The Sunday night roast smorgasbord is a great value quality meal in a bright open plan venue. The food delivery is fast and easy to access with large numbers of customers present. Many in our group had seconds, so plenty of quality cuts of meat including roast beef, fish and pork roast were available. The deserts were excellent as was the service. We will back for our next large party event.”

“I used to skip this restaurant because of its low rating, but it completely surprised me — I was wrong! This is my second time trying their dim sum, and I felt compelled to write a review. The portions are generous with plenty of fillings, and everything tastes fresh and absolutely delicious. The salted egg yolk custard bun is a must-try, and the polo char siew bun were tasty. ( Sorry, the photos of the buns weren’t attached.)”

“I had 4 of my cats stay at Hillcrest for 18 days. They loved it, when they came back you could tell they had been well looked after and brushed. Would highly recommend sending your fur babies here.”

“Our rabbit has been boarding at Elite Bunny Retreat for 5+ years. He is always beautifully looked after and Byndie is genuinely pleased to see him! He gets a variety of different food and the hutches are a good size allowing him to move around freely.Highly recommended for your bunny.”

So nice it’s not just feeding my cat they stay for 20mins to give her lots of pats and play with her… a bit of human contact while I’m away. And the photos with a daily update is such a lovely touch. “If you are looking for a doggy daycare I highly recommend the dog garden. The super friendly staff are amazing with all breeds of dogs, they care for them like their own and the area is great for the dogs to run around but also socialise, learning and developing their senses. They are not locked in kennels at all like most daycares which isn’t fair on the dog. They also do photos throughout the day so you know how your baby doggy is doing! Only love for this place ❤️❤️❤️”

“Very highly recommend this motel! The location is perfect - right beside a bus stop, and walking distance to the supermarket. The daily service was excellent. The studio we stayed in was perfect - new and clean. It was very quiet. The bed was really comfortable with a bamboo topped mattress. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. “AMAZING!! My family and i stayed here for a night in a 3 bedroom suite we were really happy with the value we received for the price we payed. The room was immaculate and really comfortable,The beds were the best was like sleeping on a cloud. The host is gorgeous and so helpful we did not have a prior booking however she was more than happy to help ....really recommend staying here you will not regret it....we will definitely be coming back soon .”

“We had a very comfortable, nice one night stay here. Grant and Jeanette were very lovely hosts. Had two cars and parking was not an issue (one of the few places in Wellington i believe!). Overall, it was an amazing stay and not to mention the place was immaculate! 5 stars without a doubt, would highly recommend to anyone considering and we look forward to returning next time!”

Anya worked magic with Peanut and she had a fantastic time with her and the other dogs! Super good communication as I was anxiously asking one million questions before our stay. “I only found one fault . The Wellington water was not nice to drink . Everything else was well above standard .the service was way above average .the $100 deposit was refunded in 2.5 minutes . It's a quiet place where no one makes a fuss . Extremely happy to recommend this place to single people or family's.”
