“Booked a cabin online and didn't arrive until after gate closed due to late ferry sailing. Owners very obliging and left txt confirmation with entry code. Room was very tidy and clean. Hot shower was bliss! lots of water and hot. Thank you.”

“Plenty of room for the kids to play around in the back yard. It's safe and inviting. The room was very warm and cozy, and the spa was divine, had everything I needed for the weekend I stayed. Staff members are helpful/friendly and the gentleman in the office made sure I/all guest were looked after. Will definately come back to stay”

“AMAZING!! My family and i stayed here for a night in a 3 bedroom suite we were really happy with the value we received for the price we payed. The room was immaculate and really comfortable,The beds were the best was like sleeping on a cloud. The host is gorgeous and so helpful we did not have a prior booking however she was more than happy to help ....really recommend staying here you will not regret it....we will definitely be coming back soon .”

“Such a cool place to stay. The venue has such a fun whimsical vibe and the popcorn machine in the bar is a great touch. Cocktails and food were really delicious. The rooms are compact, but really well designed with al great decor. Loved being able to open the windows! Would 100% stay again for business or pleasure.”

“I had to make a sudden trip to Wellington on Friday morning, so I was looking for accommodation late Thursday night. I called the hotel on Johnston Street, and a gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful, he arranged for an early check-in at 8 AM on Friday. Everything was well organised, the room was very clean, and I felt extremely comfortable during my stay. I was also able to work from the apartment without any issues. Please pass on my sincere thanks to the gentleman at the reception (the one with curly hair) for his assistance, as well as to the Indian lady who helped with my checkout and kindly kept my bag safe until I left in the evening.”

“Had a really refreshing stay at the ibis Wellington! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A huge highlight was the morning breakfast buffet, it was amazing and had a great variety. Definitely a solid choice for a stay in the city”

Anya worked magic with Peanut and she had a fantastic time with her and the other dogs! Super good communication as I was anxiously asking one million questions before our stay. The lovely owner Raewynne was very helpful and made an alternative suggestion that could possibly suit our needs better regarding travel to and from hospital even though it meant she wouldn't get the booking. Then, she even followed up early the next morning to see where things were at and to offer well wishes to our family - that is awesome customer service! Thanks Raewynne.”

“We had a very comfortable, nice one night stay here. Grant and Jeanette were very lovely hosts. Had two cars and parking was not an issue (one of the few places in Wellington i believe!). Overall, it was an amazing stay and not to mention the place was immaculate! 5 stars without a doubt, would highly recommend to anyone considering and we look forward to returning next time!”
