   This place is incredible. Richard, Nicholas, and the staff all know your name, what you drink and immediately bring what you need to make your stay enjoyable. The food was the most incredible I've ever had anywhere on this planet. The ATV's were my favorite part of this trip, but we also have enjoyed fishing, sheep shearing, the wineries, the spa, the hot tub, croquet, and just so much. The beach lookout on property is amazing. This place is forever in my memories as the best place we've ever stayed.

   We recently had the pleasure of staying at Wharekauhau Country Estate and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The location is breathtaking, nestled in the heart of the beautiful New Zealand countryside with stunning views all around. The services provided were top-notch, with friendly staff always ready to assist and make our stay comfortable. Special thanks to Peyton, who provided the best service at the dining room and even took the time to teach us yoga in the morning against the backdrop of the stunning view. If you're looking for a luxurious getaway with impeccable service and a picture-perfect setting, Wharekauhau Country Estate is the place to be!

   It's a hidden gem, traveled from auckland all the way to this property on a special occasion and was nervous if we would like it. But it was such a delight right from our entry driving into the main building and stepping into it, was awestruck with the architecture interiors and it was a complete beauty. Food was amazing and my lil one looked forward for breakfast to see Nicholas. Also husband did clay shooting which was fantastic. In a nutshell beautiful experience and memories created for lifetime.

   5 stars do not give Wharekauhau Lodge the credit it deserves. The magnificent setting and perfect ambience is truly complemented by the outstanding chef Norka Mella Munoz and the vivacious Nicholas who heads Front of House. Our 5 course degustation lunch was absolutely superb and was a sensory delight! The waiting staff charming and personable; everyone was so warm and welcoming and we felt so comfortable. I cannot commend Norka enough on her skills as a chef- her love of food and exuberant personality are reflected in every dish and one leaves Wharekauhau eager to return. Thank you for giving us such a cherished memory!
