   Hillcrest are the best. They have looked after Lily (ragdoll) since she was 4 months. Lily is fed well, hugged and brushed and is contented there. They send me videos. They are an AAAAA+++++ safe place to leave your precious cat. Photo as a young kitten, now a slothful year old

   I had 4 of my cats stay at Hillcrest for 18 days. They loved it, when they came back you could tell they had been well looked after and brushed. Would highly recommend sending your fur babies here.

   Gail and Caroline, who run Hillcrest, are such lovely people that it honestly made such a difference to us when we left our babies in their care. The facility is really nice and clean, and doesn't have that "cat urine" smell that is prevalent in many other catteries. Our kittens had previously stayed in a pet hotel that also had dogs as guests, and while the people there were also really lovely, the kittens came home stressed and exhibiting strange behaviours for a few days. When neighbour's dogs barked, the kittens freaked out for a week or so after coming home. So we made the decision to try somewhere that only hosted cats, to see if it made a difference for them, and they were completely different when they came home after their first stay at Hillcrest. They were confident, happy, and relaxed, which of course relaxed us! The kittens have stayed there twice now and - despite being a crazy bunch of hooligans - they're still welcome back!! The staff put photos and updates in our own personalised gallery so we could see what our "mini Mafia" were getting up to, and it was really great to see that they didn't appear to miss us very much at all, lol. Really highly recommended. Hillcrest is now our kittens' home away from home.
