“I am not sure about the negative reviews by other peeps out there but my online experience for JDSports so far is second to none! I purchased 2 Jordan from them and the shoes were delivered 2 days after. The second one was ordered like 9-10pm and got processed literally 5am following morning! I am impressed on how quick they dispatched it! I ordered the same shoe from FL waited for the timer to become available only to find out a day after that all of my size were OOS (the only lesson I've learn is FL online ordering sucks) TLDR; superb online ordering and got the shoes 2 days after! Highly recommend!”
“Fabulous location for a quiet walk or to run the dog or perhaps have a picnic, plenty of space coupled with a lil wildlife and scenic views all inside a residential neighborhood.”
“Stonefield Wetlands Park is a great place to visit for a relaxing day in nature. It is a perfect place to go for a walk, have a picnic, or do some birdwatching. Here is a summary of the pros and cons of Stonefield Wetlands Park: Pros: Beautiful natural scenery Wide variety of wildlife Well-maintained walking trail Playground, picnic area, and barbecue area Popular spot for fishing Cons: Small park Can be crowded on weekends. Overall, I highly recommend Stonefield Wetlands Park to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable day in nature.”
“We booked the community room for our Xmas function. It was a bit warm without any air conditioner but apart from that it was a great location and will definitely go there again. Next time we will bring fans.”

“Lake Panorama is a truly wonderful place to visit. Perfect for young kids and even not so young kids. As you walk around the lake you will see a number of "hidden" secrets. Young and old definitely won't be bored. There are lots of ducks and other wildlife, plus the lake is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place.”
“Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve, located in Auckland's Blockhouse Bay suburb, is a charming spot offering a blend of natural beauty and recreational amenities. The reserve features a small beach with soft sand, making it suitable for swimming, picnicking, and leisurely walks along the shore. Families will appreciate the well-maintained playground, providing a safe and enjoyable area for children. The surrounding greenery, complete with picnic tables and benches, offers a serene environment for relaxation. Facilities such as public toilets and outdoor showers are available for visitor convenience. However, parking can be limited during peak times, so arriving early is advisable. While the beach is relatively modest in size, its tranquil atmosphere and scenic views make it a delightful destination for both locals and tourists seeking a peaceful retreat.”
“Great fields and facilities. Only know it through my daughter's early morning football practice but everything seems top notch.”
“Enclosed playground so you can relax a little while the kids play. Plenty of picnic tables, and play equipment for all ages 1-11y.o approx”
“A peaceful oasis right on the waterfront! Scenic walking paths, native birdlife, and sweeping ocean views make it perfect for a relaxed stroll. The grassy areas are ideal for picnics, and the playground is great if you’re bringing kids. Highly recommend!”
“Great for bikes and scooters. Basically a large West Auckland park that runs alongside Henderson and a creek. Ends up at the cycleway into town CBD alongside the Norwestern Motorway (in between Lincoln and Te Atatū South on-ramps). Fun walk/ ride. Interesting trees in the international garden area!”
“Amazing park. Love to take the dog here. Carpark near the men's shed has a hose to wash off the dog after playing in the ponds.”
“Has hot showers and free gas-fired barbecues, well maintained facilities for low pp cost per night. Beautiful native bush surroundings and stunning freshwater stream. Excellent walking trails nearby and superb NZ native forests to explore.”
“A beautiful walk with a stunning waterfall. Challenging in parts & a long hike. Very, very muddy with a lot of fallen trees. Mostly well maintained but could do with a bitbof a tidy up some more board walks over the very muddy parts. Very successful for doggo owners & people ready for a good adventure.”
“Beautiful place especially on a calm warm summers night. Love it”
“Nice track and beautiful waterfall. Watch out for mozzies and sandflies in summer. Be sure to go with people as you’ll want someone to open and close the gates for you as you pass through the farms. I’d recommend taking a 4wd to cross the rivers along the way.”
“Great running/walking track which connects Lake Rua through to the Groynes. Reasonably well maintained and a couple of off shoots.”
“Kids friendly and very good place for trail running or walking.”
“Awesome camp spot. Key points to remember: - Get there early. It can get very busy, very quickly - Parking. There are a lot of people who use this carpark as a day park for the hikes and rides in the area. And the carpark is not big. So keep calm, and keep trying. - There is no "fresh water source" as such. It's water from the river. - You cannot camp next to you car. You will need to carry your gear. ( It's not too far. But something to remember) - There are a LOT of little pockets of campsites. From the carpark you cannot see them all, so keep looking!”
“This is a beautiful walk for the family. Really easy and the waterfalls is stunning after rain. You can get right up to it and there are no deep pools in front so great for kids. The entrance is not the one with the large sign and parks in front but is across the oval on the left (facing the oval). There is a timber sign.”
“Great short walk to waterfalls and really nice for a family outing. 20 mins walk to Te Ana Falls. Water is cold but It’s refreshing after hot summer walk. There’s another waterfall further up about 15 mins walk but be mindful that it’s only a look out and some of the track are about 500mm - 600mm you need to be extra careful especially when the ground is wet could be a little slippery.”
“Nice place I Live in Hastings but do travel through quite often”
“Sealed road all the way to the campsite. Stunning place to relax along the Mohaka River. We stayed one night and woke up to amazing birdsong in the morning. The sound of water at night is peaceful too. Would definitely recommend if you're wanting a place to stay between Napier and Taupo.”
“The best walk ever, so many many to see, some short uphills mixed with mostly easy walking, all on a gravel track.”
