First time! Were do I start ?? (. Grate parking). Ask for the best ! Got what I think is the worst. !! The kitchen you would get better at the YMCA ,or a shelter .Bedroom living area! Christ there’s nothing worth the price! I should’ve camped in my vehicle The bathroom is just one big cold rundown room with a spa bath . The TV doesn’t work properly ! One heater! One chair! One coffee table and an old two seater couch. Bring a sleeping bag because ! What is on the bed is all you are getting !!!! So keep that One heater. On . So disappointed have stayed at cheaper with more money for bucks

Great location but that is where it ended. Very dated room, shower over a bath which was no good for my hubby (82 yrs) we tried to change but not able. No face flannels. Minimal cutlery & plates but no where to wash except bathroom sink. Rusty fridge and filthy toaster. Broken 2 seater couch and 1 plastic chair. No SKY or Streaming TV. Was supposed to be a treat getaway but wasn't. Not sure how venue has 4 stars and cost nearly $500 for 2 nights. Don't recommend.

Large rooms that are clean and tidy but showing their age decor wise. Wall of mirrors in the large bathroom totally unnecessary and a tiny toilet space. On a whole tidy but needing money spent on maintenance and upgrading decor

There was no microwave in the unit or sink..the main curtains close fully over the door you use. No very functional. Was OK but wouldn't really recommend.

Awesome motel to stay in, very spacious rooms, comfy big beds, great pressure in the shower. Right across the road from Hagley Park which was fabulous. Very good value for money and would happily stay again.

Unfortunately the heater did not work in room I was in. There was also no kitchenette. The mattress also had hollows in it, which put my back out. Reception staff while not rude, acted as if they had better things to do. Great value for money, but maybe not for you if you like your back.

Great place to stay in Christchurch. Same side of the city as the train station and airport. Pleasant walk across the park to town. Good restaurants just a block away.

Editing to add that this is clearly still an issue and if you have negative feedback they don't wanna know you. Have now changed review to one star overall as they clearly don't take on the info given in these reviews if you're not complimenting them. Don't waste your time, book the hotel literally across the road, it looked MUCH, MUCH BETTER. Just as an FYI this place DOES have a 'bond', they still haven't bothered to update their website at all since I was caught out by this in October and it would seem that I'm not the only person this has happened to. At no point during the booking process, are you made aware that there is a bond, when booking it tells you that your total is the price for the two rooms and that's it, paid $250 for 2 nights for wedding accommodation, just to get in to check in and be told that there's a $150 bond, money of which I did not have and had i known about this charge, would have booked somewhere else.

Friendly receptionist, breakfast bland. Had no hot water the second night on arriving home. Took 20 minutes to get on call manager who was very dismissive and said we had to wait until morning. Very noisy at night with traffic. Understand these things happen but her attitude was appalling. Wouldn’t recommend
