We have stayed here a handful of times in our motorhome and it was always been excellent. There has never been any excessive noise. We also love the powerful showers which have always been hot. The park is not far from shops and restaurants.

I stayed 2 nights whilst on a cycle trip and it was ideal for my needs. I had been a little concerned staying in the city alone but the owners made me feel safe and the camp has good policies around access etc. My non powered site was great with shade near facilities. Would certainly stay again

We had an unpowered site for our campervan overnight. Compared to all of the other parks we had stayed in Aotearoa, this one was quite run down and in need of some upgrades. The picnic table at our site was rickety and felt like it may collapse. The amenities block was very dated and the shower room itself had rotting wood and quite a lot of well established mould. The lady that served us at reception was extremely friendly and helpful - the review is in no way a reflection of the staff.

We had a pleasant stay at Hamilton City Holiday Park. It was a last minute decision when we googled for a nearest holiday park as we just reached Auckland. We came exactly at 8pm when the reception was closing! The staff at reception was friendly and very helpful to allow us to check in so late. The park had all the facilities we needed, including a laundry, spacious parking, and clean bathrooms and indoor kitchen areas. Thank you for leaving us with a best campervan experience at your holiday park on our first night at New Zealand

I lived as a full time tenant in own caravan for more than 4 years. Friendly staff always up for a chat and friendly wave. Clean amenities. Fast at resolving any issues. Other campers albeit full time or just passing through were friendly. Will miss the camp life and the staff. Till I pop in again even if just to say hi

Very budget accommodation, cheap as chips for the area. The room I stayed in was okay, I wasn't expecting much. If you're looking for luxury then look elsewhere haha but for budget accommodation this is perfect. I recommend upgrading to the self contained unit so you don't have to walk across the park in the middle of the night when you need to pee! The staff here were friendly and welcoming. You should bring your own bedding or rent it from them for about $7. I checked both of the rooms we stayed in and didn't find any bedbugs - for those like me that are concerned about bedbugs!

The cabin we stayed in was older but was clean. It was perfect for a short stay, wasnt lost of things for kids to do and the playground was average. Location was good but lots of noise at night. If you are looking for somewhere affordable, clean with great service then I would 100% recommend this park.

Very disappointed with this establishment. Stayed with the sports team but after checking out, was informed by a call that a large blanket was missing from the room. They make us pay for something we did not take. We were travelling in a small van and there is no way any of my boys would have taken it as it would be too obvious as all of them has small bags. There is no inventory that we need to check when we check in and when we check out, we were told that a blanket is missing. Very dodgy dealings as anyone who has a key to the house when we check out could have taken it. Have already informed all the other sports teams from our school and other affiliated schools not to use them in the future. Not happy at all. First and last time that we will ever stay at Hamilton City Holiday Park.

Horrific experience. Booked two cabins was only given key for one cabin was filthy as were toilet amnenities drunks all through a cabin and outside abusing my children and was followed by a half naked older man all through the camp ground. When brought this to the staffs attention and asked to cancel she refused to refund and showed no empathy that I had been followed to the toilet by this man and no longer wanted to stay also as my uncle had been murdered in Hamilton a few months prior when this was brought to her attention she just said oh well thatβs tough get over it and refused to Alter anything also did not disclose its emergency accomodation and there were constant arguments in the half hour we were there. Facilities were also disgusting. Have spoken with the booking agency who were also not aware of this and will be investigating do not bring children here it is not a safe environment
