Absolutely unacceptable and the worst service I have ever experienced from a furniture company. We placed an order (#600112426) last month and clearly requested delivery on a specific date. Instead, the company sent it out for delivery the very next day. After contacting customer support, we were told the delivery had been redirected to the Sylvia Park store and were explicitly assured it would be delivered on 20 December. That promise was completely ignored. As of today, we still have not received our order. When we contacted customer support again, we were suddenly told the delivery would only happen next year, leaving us with no option but to cancel the order. What makes this even worse is that when we contacted the store directly, we were lied to and told the order had already been dispatched and that we would receive it the same day—which was completely false. This company shows zero accountability, shockingly poor coordination, and blatant dishonesty from both customer service and in-store staff. This level of incompetence and misleading communication is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and will never purchase from this company again. I will also make sure friends and family do not waste their time or money here.
I have mixed feelings about this place. The layout is lovely and some beautiful stock. The first person I dealt with was very friendly and helpful trying to track down prints I wanted for my baby nursery. Promised to call me that week - but that follow-up never happened. I gave them a chance to call the following week - and planned to chase up the following week - but I went into labour. Fast-forward over a month later and still no news so I call in. They have my order albeit minus one print they promised to try and track down. So I gave up and just took what they had. Unfortunately they didn’t call when promised as it meant I had to take a newborn in the car across town in 28 degree heat and IKEA traffic to pick up something I’d paid for and expected pre the baby’s birth. When we finally got in to get it they just presented it to us - we had to ask to get it wrapped
Makeup Desk – No Response Dear Adairs Sylvia Park Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a refund issue that has yet to be resolved. I purchased a Mocha Makeup Desk from your store during the Valentine’s Day promotion. Unfortunately, one of the legs broke just a couple of months later. I contacted Mocha directly, and they kindly arranged and processed a full refund to Adairs Sylvia Park on 16-05-2025, over 18 days ago. Since then, I have phoned your store three times, providing my details—including my phone number and Adairs membership number—on each occasion. Despite these efforts, no one has contacted me to confirm the refund or assist me with purchasing a replacement desk. It appears that each staff member I speak to is unable to track or resolve the matter. This level of service is extremely disappointing and uncharacteristic of the Adairs brand. I am simply seeking the refund I am entitled to so I can proceed with buying a new desk. Please treat this matter as urgent and provide me with a clear update as soon as possible. I would appreciate a direct point of contact who can take ownership and follow this through to resolution.
Fabulous. Called to find 2 Soccer Ball quilts. The girls looked for them found two and let me know they would hold. Drove to Sylvia Park. The counter girls were expecting me. They brought them out and checked I was a Linen Lover. I got the sale price which was amazing. I was looked after professionally from start to finish. I find it is really worth being a Linen Lover. The sales are excellent.

I recently had a great shopping experience with this store. Everyone was very pleasant, professional & went out of their way to help. And their store manager was particularly very helpful!
The store is nice and staff is friendly but I find it severely overpriced. Similar items can be found elsewhere for way cheaper and same quality
While Adairs has an amazing product selection and the prices are great ( if on clearance or sale), the online delivery is just woeful. I've been waiting almost a month and no idea when my order will arrive. Just be aware that if you order online it is actually dispatched and shipped from Australia (by a snail apparently). It took aprox 2-3 weeks for my order just to be dispatched from their warehouse! I keep imagining they only have 1 poor overworked lonely person picking all their orders and feeling sorry for that person carrying the company on their shoulders. Definitely just buy in-store if you can (unfortunately my experience with the Sylvia park store service hasn't been amazing either but at least you will get your goods when you pay for it!)
