“About 15-20 min walk to the water falls ! Fairly easy tracks but wouldn’t recommend a pram. Family friendly. The last section of the hike, you need to climb down with a rope but it’s easy.”
“A fountain with a statue over it. Nice spot to stop on the shore line in Napier beach.”
“Didn't even know it was there..A gem and there's a fantastic gym there and it's busy”

“Quiet little spot for a little contemplation of the world. Lovely view. Good also for launching a boat and fishing at high tide (unless you want muddy feet!). Not a beach as such but a tidal creek, so mostly mud.”
“Quiet little park, good for taking the kids for a bike or scooter ride. Cool playground for the kids too.”
“Beautiful beach and beautiful bushwalks for dogs walk on sand a bit a long walk to the car park off-road no restroom picnic table no barbecue”
“Fantastic walking tracks and best of all your dog can come too Alfie loved it.”
“What an easy beautiful walk to the waterfalls, and then a nice little challenge to get to the fence line, will definitely be back with the picnic gear.”
“Always good service and a good range of products. They usually stock locally sourced timber when they can. Good trade account service and deliveries too”
“A hidden gem in Churton Park! I stopped in at Simmer Café and was seriously impressed. I had a mocha and a cheese scone, and both were outstanding. The mocha was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced — not too sweet, not too bitter. The cheese scone was fresh, warm, and full of flavour — one of the best I’ve had in Wellington. The staff were welcoming and the café had a great local atmosphere — clean, relaxed, and clearly a favourite with regulars. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!”
“Really great place, totally adored the vide and the hostess was amazing and super friendly. Food was really quick, large portions and really really delicious. Everyone in our group loved their meals!!”
“It's close by so we eat here a lot... I can say it is consistently really good!! Fresh, tasty food, love the Asian meals but the classic fish n chips is delicious too. These guys are nailing it for a take away spot! Great prices, always fast, always tasty with big servings. Can't resist getting one of their amazing home made spring rolls every single time!!!”
“Lovely flowers and very reasonable prices. My go to”
“Great colours of night sky in the hood. Perfect for family walk-in-the -park”
“Good place to keep the kids occupied for an hour. Great little tennis club next door.”
“Nice safe quiet place, very friendly, small walk to toilets. Had loo paper and soap. Bbq and outdoor gym, free to use.”
“We cannot fault the treatment our son received at Starship any of the times we’ve visited. Our concerns and his wellbeing were always taken incredibly seriously. The doctors, nurses and even triage staff at reception deserve so much more recognition for the outstanding work they do.”
“Safe place to walk and let the kids play.”
“This is a great place for relaxing, also good for the kids. There are two big waterslides. But it would be good to renovate a bit here and there, but it does not affecting the good experience.”
“It's free! And it's v cute, albeit tiny. I took some photos for a young adult couple. Not crowded at all. Open 10am, and open until after the zoo next door closes. They share a car park, easy access.”
