“This store has a really nice layout and stays reasonably well stocked. Our favorite thing about it, though, is it's fairly quiet and peaceful. A large discount store down the road attracts the big crowds, leaving this one surprisingly empty. It's always pleasant to walk in here and not be mushed in with throngs of people in the vegetable section as other stores funnel everyone in there. In Countdown you can start shopping in whatever isle you want. Refreshing!”

“Great to see that the collectibles are being shared around! Bought a great dinner : olives, gherkins, feta, edam slices, carrots, ravioli, and ginger kisses for desert. Easy nutritious and delicious (sans kisses) 'Number free' options were a bit tricky to find but we found our healthy choices eventually.”

Staff always very helpful and pleasant Central Mall also has a great free flowing movement by where shoppers have great respect for each other around them. “My favorite shop I like it better than Napier Woolworths Supermarket will be back cause you have got a good selection of GF products that Napier Pak n save doesn't have and I will be buying most of my GF stuff from Carlyle Street Woolworths Napier from now on. “This one worker her name was Jade, I always see her there and she is the best worker I've ever seen. She once helped me out of a locked changing room, helped a little kid after they tripped, got something for this old lady off a tall shelf, hyped up this girl in some shoes she wanted to buy, and even helped this guy pick out a nice scarf for his wife. Once I accidentally was short five dollars and she payed the rest. This girl is amazing and deserves so much more than she is paid. Praise this woman she is beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.”

They also came and removed the old one and replaced it with the new one! I won't go anywhere else for appliances again, these guys are a 10/10 for customer service.”

“As a visitor from NSW, Australia, I can't believe Woolworths has a pharmacy inside it! And it sells alcohol inside as well! (not a separate store like in Australia). Also saw sausages being sold in a plastic bag! Then my credit card bill still says Countdown instead of Woolworths, which was their old name! New Zealand is truly an interesting place.”
