There's an old lady employee with greying hair that's rude and stand-offish every time I come across her. Very stressful experience. Don't know who hurt her in life. Will take my business elsewhere from now on.
For the fourth, or fifth time in recent weeks, they have one till open when there are five customers with trolleys. So instead of 6-7 items, I only bought one. PaKnSave are far better at this. So, its a 1 star review.
Upon further visits to this supermarket, I am writing a new review. I have had nothing but good experiences here. The staff are always so helpful and pleasant to deal with. I believe it will be my new favourite place to do my weekly household shopping. If you go at the right time, there are plenty of great accessible parks available, right outside the door. You will always be able to find a helpful staff member within the store or as you check out. As a person with specific access needs, I can not ask for a more helpful bunch to assist me. I do, however, still think there should be a lift available to the public for the underground parking.
Empty shelves. No meat for sale. Ordered online and got all the meat we ordered “not supplied” so went into store and the pictures below show better than I can say…
When on 5th Aug at 20.50 and queued at the manned counter, asking for a frozen item that shows 'in stock' on website. The 20s girl with long and blonde pony tail with black glasses was just saying ' if it's there, it's there if it's not there it's out of stock' without checking on her system if the item is there, or check with me the actual item I was after, or ask any service staff to find the item. Total laziness! After leaving the store and went to another Woolworths store, that item was apparently in the frozen middle secion in the deli. When I went back into this store, it turned out that there were plenty of stock on hand. Moreover, this lady is a 'senior' who are training this new bloke on the counter. What an attitude. The management should find a better staff member to train new staff and train staff the SOP when a customer is asking for an item.
Nice store, wide and spacious, many parks. Did notice many shelves were full but did come late at night. Will be back at some point. Checkout Operator was nice, and welcoming. Much appreciated thanks guys. 5/5
Has a decent range of products but the staff really let this place down. Staff at self checkout are so rude for no reason. We get it you don’t like your job
Yeah it's a supermarket, like any other. Lots of room to move here I do have to say. Wide aisles. Shelves well stocked (unlike invercargill store). Service and prices the same.
Standard Countdown. Classic items you can find somewhere else but a bit more expensive, like any other Countdown. What it is good at, the imported food. Especially Italian pasta and tomato sauce. You can find good deals if you have the One Card. Also the meat is above local standards. Overall fine, you just need to know what you are after.
