   This is the worst grocery store I have ever been to. On Monday, the 6th of October, I stopped by this shop to get some bread and wipes. I’ve had an issue here before as their machine couldn’t read my card from Apple Wallet. However, at the other Woolworths on Queen Street, everything works perfectly, and I’ve never had this problem. The cashier, a young lady, responded with a dismissive attitude when I mentioned the issue again. She said with a lordly expression “Can’t help you ma’am” and looked at me as if I were a thief. Are you serious???? Is this how you treat your customers? I asked her to call a manager so we could resolve the problem as I needed to buy those products. It’s not my fault that your machines don’t work properly. Instead of focusing on rebranding, you should invest in your equipment and treat your customers like human beings!!! I will never come to this store again.

   Where has the thick sliced, instore baked bread gone? This is one of the main reasons for us shopping at Countdown. There has only been the sandwich slice in all local Countdown stores for a couple of weeks now. Please bring back the thick slice!

   Happy Happy Anniversary to Carol - I hear today is 45 years at Countdown. Have an awesome day I just want to say how fantastic the team are here. I have been doing online shopping since last year and the online staff and staff at service desk are always so nice and helpful. I am also very grateful to them during the lockdowns. Thank You so very much There are 2 staff who go above and beyond and always smiling. Thanks Joan and Victoria for being so awesome

   Damn, the Macro smoked chicken is incredibly smokey in flavour, 5 stars. Juice's made smokey gravy taste too, superb.The cooking time needs adjusting , for a butterflied 1.1kg no more than an hour ten @180 .

   A better set up store than the Queen Street branch in Upper Hutt. Customer service is good and the butchery is the best in Upper Hutt with excellent cuts and top grade meat quality.
