    It's my local, but I'm losing more and more confidence in this store. Items I want are on the app but not in stock, or not on the app but in stock when I go in. Makes it hard to do online shopping or work my budget. Trollies aren't always at the door. I treated myself to 2 bottles of Barkers feijoa tea, got the bottles home and discovered BBD as 11/11/25. I purchased on 23/12/25. There's still some bottles with the same BBD a week later. And I recently went in late afternoon to lots of empty shelves, not a lot of meat and the soft plastic bins were full with the overflow on the floor. Often have found items on special or loaded with bonus points not in stock. IMO, Waimak Junction a better store.

    Worst shopping experience so far!I've been shopping there for years and now after some geniuses idea to streamline their staff,the shelves are completely empty! Right across the board from meat section to grocery and this was early morning. Unsure if you have a nightfill but didnt look like it this morning. Seemed there was more staff picking internet orders than stocking shelves!Coming into the busy xmas period your company needs to lift its game BIG TIME.

    Tuesday 16th September. Yet again the trolley park at the entrance to the supermarket was empty. This is not the first time I have complained about it. The customer service staff should show some respect to their customers, we are expected to show them some kindness but how about staff showing some kindness in return. It took me a long time to extract a large trolley from a line of green ones whist holding three bags.

    I went last night to shop at 5.30pm, prices have jumped again in a week some quite alot, I had to go through the pumpkin pieces to find 1 that hadn't started to rot, the brocoli was disgusting very small or th3 larger pieces looked old ,def not worth the price they were asking for them., there was next to no bagged salad definitly not what I was wanting, possibly needed to be restocked , the staff on checkout are wonderful I shop.here weekly and they are always lovely, I.will continue to shop.here but will be going to the fruit and veg shop for veges from now on

    Their pricing leaves something to be desired. "Pumpkin" miss priced @ $400.00ea. Chicken miss priced @ $60.00ea for 8 pack drumsticks. My advice to "any" shopper: DON'T LEAVE THE TILL UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED YOUR RECEIPT. If you hold up other shoppers then so be it. They need to be aware!!

    I use online order most times and it is very good, only $14 for delivery and even comes out to Swannanoa, I'm very impressed. Any small issues that happen and quickly resolved and I am always a happy customer, Thankyou to the staff at Countdown Rangiora.

    I live in Rangiora and shop at Countdown but I notice everytime I come and I am disabled that there are no trolleys in trolley bay This happens most weeks I also find the entrance way outside and foyer very untidy and dirty looking Someone needs to sweep it and clean this every morn Presentation is a very big thing If you go to New world which is my main shop I shop at it is always clean and tidy Staff are welcoming customer service is a big part of business today I'm not the only one to talk about this I've heard same from other people

    Ok supermarket, which is well presented. Plenty of car parking and centrally located in Rangiora. Countdown has a good variety of products. Reasonably priced with most of products that you will need. Good customer service at the check outs and reasonably easy to find assistance if you need help. This supermarket is an ok place to get what you need. Nothing brilliant stands out about this Countdown apart from it's a quite new building, so it is has a very good layout inside and outside.
