   Terrible fruit, blueberries I paid $2.50 for in Australia are $11 here and are of a poorer quality, went off fast and are smaller all round poorer quality. Im sick of buying fruit particularly berries there that are off. It’s overall highly overpriced, go to nearly any other country pay less for the same thing, (including developing which I’ve lived and worked, including countries of s similar size with no agriculture industry (Singapore) look at their quality and their prices. This is a great example of how kiwis get ripped. NZ pays BIG for the simple necessities. Im sceptical of all of their “great” reviews considering it’s so expensive yet poor quality food.

   Honestly fed up by these people. I ordered my groceries yesterday and they didn’t deliver it, none of the employees sounded responsible on the phone, I called yesterday they said they’d redeliver my order but still did not show up, they blatantly decided not to deliver, and now I had to call again this morning ( which is too late)for them to redeliver it but I think they weren’t even taking care of my groceries or even refrigerating it, I fear they’re probably gonna deliver spoiled meat to my place bc they just left the bag somewhere random without refrigerating it , having to call them again is so annoying because I’ll have to ask for a refund for this one. I can’t even properly explain the situation on the phone because the person answering calls at this hour is just… not it. The first time I called, she hung up on me. The second time, she answered with, “I just talked to you,” like I was the problem. I really don’t feel like my order is being handled responsibly at all, especially when it comes to food. She said she’d get the Uber driver to send my order, but that was it, no proper apology, no sense of accountability. I just want to remind you you’re wasting food, you’re wasting people’s time, and you had one simple job—deliver the order (unspoiled) If you can’t handle that responsibility, maybe this isn’t the right job, because it’s incredibly frustrating having to deal with irresponsible staff on the phone just to get my groceries delivered. I’m already guessing they’re gonna send spoiled meat to my place because I just know these people aren’t handling food properly.

   If you need to book a wheelchair for someone to shop at Barrington Mall, you book it at the service desk at Fresh Choice. The staff were busy and were still helpful and friendly. There is no cost. We took an hour and there was no pressure to limit the time for us to use it. Thankyou a great service.

   This is a strange one. I've never had an issue before so I'm hoping it's random bad day. Currently heavily pregnant and with a toddler in hand I decided to use the tills so I could get some help packing the groceries... for the lady doing the till hand my 5yr old a paper bag while i had thenpther one. What did you think she was going to do with it? Then I'm the bad person to take the bag off her.

   Very sad to see that the previously great deli counter has been replaced with prepackaged meat in plastic trays. Like the bakery section before it, it has gone from great to trash in the blink of an eye :-(

   I love this store, friendly staff members at deli and friendly staff at the checkouts. Particularly this young girl, Zoe from what I recall does an excellent job at making me feel less nervous as I have a hard time speaking and was patient. Would come back regularly
