“This is our go to when staying in Christchurch. With young kids, they are safe because when you open your front door you are in a secure courtyard, not right into the car park. Across the street there is also an awesome playground. The rooms are large and clean. The courtyard has aplenty of space, picnic tables and a BBQ. Perfect for family groups or sports teams.”

“Really impressed with this motel for the price! The room was clean, modern, and spacious. The room was large enough to have an infant cot and still good space around it. The kitchen was petite but exactly as I expected for a studio. The bathroom was spacious, with nice amenities, and great shower pressure. Nice toilet paper too! Haha. Also impressed that our room was serviced even though we only stayed two nights in total. Great location, a short drive to Riccarton Westfield Mall, Tower Junction, and a short walk to a great cafe Addington Co Op.”

“We stayed in Rm 2 and Rm 6, the rooms are very clean, bed are very comfortable and the kitchen are very nice and clean. The location are close to everything park, restaurant, supermarket and mall. The host is friendly and vey good service. We will stay again and again... we found a good place to stay.. Thanks Roger..”

“Peppers Clearwater really blew us away. We booked a Lakeview Suite through an Accor Plus More Escapes deal that came with breakfast, a three-course dinner, and a cheese platter with a bottle of wine – such great value. The suite itself was gorgeous, the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Sitting out on the deck watching the ducks and swans glide by, with the sun setting over the lake, was just magic. The staff made the stay even better – both the bar and restaurant teams went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Dinner was a real highlight: duck salad and grilled scallops to start, then fish and lamb for mains, and tiramisu plus panna cotta for dessert. Every dish was spot on. Breakfast the next morning was à la carte with excellent barista-made soy lattes, and I have to say, the eggs benedict was the best I’ve ever had. We were lucky with the spring weather too, and enjoyed our cheese platter and wine out on the deck in the sunshine – pure bliss. The little touches also made a difference, like being able to do a load of washing and plug in our rented Tesla overnight in the garage. We honestly couldn’t recommend Clearwater more. Huge thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome and completely spoiled.”

“My stay here was quite pleasant. I arrived past check-in hours. So, they emailed me the code to the lockbox outside the lobby to retrieve my key. My room was on the second floor. There were two convenient sets of stairs. The room was clean, quiet and well-equipped. I had a rental car and there was ample free parking. There were some reasonably-priced snacks and sodas in the room available to purchase. I spent $10 over the course of a few days and it was worth it. I will definitely stay here again. Front desk staff was very helpful.”

Close to the city and very reasonably priced, this was the best accommodation on this quick trip around the south island.”

The owner said his wife did them! She must be a life loving person! That’s probably why the rooms are so tidy and clean! The owner is very friendly and nice! “Stayed here couple nights, nice clean bedrooms with own large shower and toilet. Got fridge microwave and toaster in the room along with TV, the host is nice, and quiet. I do recommend and if I back again to chch I'll rebook here.”

“Honestly, I don’t understand the previous review. We enjoyed our stay. The lady at the reception was lovely, everything was clean and there were heaps of other backpackers (also some workers, but they were nice as well). Nice location as well. I would definitely come back.”

“We have known Emma for a number of years personally and she was our 'go to' person when it came to seeking an appraisal for our home. Emma is always warm, friendly and caring. Her business ethic is outstanding - she is efficient, always prompt in replying to phone messages or emails. We would strongly reccommend Emma to anyone needing the services of a Real Estate Agent, and have in fact just put our neighbours in touch with her knowing that she would be the ideal person to help them through the process of selling their home. Dwayne visited us in support of Emma in the sale of our property. Dwayne is a cheerful, energetic person and a pleaure to have had assist us while offers were being negotiated. Although our time spent with Dwayne was limited he was very helpful and efficient.”

“Ok supermarket, which is well presented. Plenty of car parking and centrally located in Rangiora. Countdown has a good variety of products. Reasonably priced with most of products that you will need. Good customer service at the check outs and reasonably easy to find assistance if you need help. This supermarket is an ok place to get what you need. Nothing brilliant stands out about this Countdown apart from it's a quite new building, so it is has a very good layout inside and outside.”
