   We stayed at Apollo Motel, Riccarton, from 24 June to 6 July—13 nights of absolute comfort and care! I was with my husband and son, and this experience will always remain unforgettable for our family. A special thank you to Jay Sha, who managed everything so smoothly. Jay is incredibly well-mannered, courteous, friendly, and always willing to help. Every dealing with him was seamless, and his professionalism stood out throughout our stay. The motel itself was clean, peaceful, and well-equipped, but it was the human warmth that made it special. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a homely, welcoming place in Christchurch. Keep up the great work, Jay and team!

   Stayed 3 nights - very noisy, (all night road noise and from unit above) hot (no air conditioning) dirty, old and dirty furnishings, mould in bathroom, minimal room servicing, no hot water for first 24 hours. Avoid.

   As advertised. Not a 5 star hotel but for a motel unit was quite fine. Staff was helpful and friendly, room was nice. Water pressure In the shower was amazing. Would stay again.

   The staff at the Apollo are very nice and accomodating. Beds were comfortable, sheets and pillows very clean. Location is on a main road into the CBD and only takes about 10 mins to get there. The room was a bit dated with a seat that was very tattered, black mold in the bathroom that needs cleaning out and some very old bedside tables. Good value for money but the Apollo needs a bit of a spruce up.

   We booked the two bedroom unit with a spa bath, spa bath didn't work, someone came and looked at it and said they'd be back, never cam back. The only reason we went here was for the spa bath and we were very disappointed when it didn't even work. We also had light fixtures that weren't working, switches held together by tape. Our room also wasn't serviced when it should have been leaving us with no clean towels. The cleanliness was also very poor and you wouldn't have been able to tell that it had been cleaned before we arrived. Unfortunately not a very nice stay.

   Clean, well appointed. Had milk, coffee and tea with plunger/coffee. Kitchen adequate for simple cooking. Cot provided for our bubby on request, for free, as we requested at booking. Has everything you'd expect in a motel room. Mix of new and more worn furnishing elements, but coordinating and in good condition. Bathroom also maybe a little worn but perfectly clean. Great staff and excellent customer service. Overall value for $$, would stay here again.
