“On first meeting Gavin, I listened to him speaking to a potential purchaser at an open house. I very much liked his approach, calmly spoken with relevant questions. Owing to my leaving my lights on in the car there, Gavin sprung into action with his jumper leads, venturing out into heavy rain, saying; "It is only water!' I engaged this likable man to sell my property, and was never disappointed by the decision. “Stayed here before flying out of Christchurch. Uber is around 50nzd to airport. Owner was amazing and loved some banter! Very accommodating and even though he had over bookings (because of third party booking apps) he made it work for us. Rooms are simple but have everything you need. There is a bar at the front and the staff are lovely there too. True kiwi hospitality! Chur!”

“I had an excellent stay at Pine lake view lodge in a Twin bed studio, room was very clean, beds were made to a high standard and sheets very clean and soft. I slept like a log!! Politeness and manners go a long way in the Mainland and the proprietor was equally friendly and welcoming considering I booked through a third party quite late the same night even after he'd closed the office. I'd most definitely stay here again!! Cheers for a most pleasant stay”
