βAlways good produce and meat. Friendly staff. Nicely designed store and well thought out positioning.β
βI have had 2 positive experiences at Pet Doctors with Linda. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout Dracoβs consult for his recurring skin allergies. Not only was she thorough in examining him and explaining possible causes and treatments, but she also made sure to check in with me, answering all my questions clearly and patiently. Itβs wonderful to have a vet who combines expertise with genuine kindness. Highly recommend Linda and the Pet Doctors team!β
βVery friendly staffs. We are enjoying this shop where we live close by. They got veriety products and theme items for our cat.β
βExcellent consult with my elderly cat who wasn't eating and had been vomiting for a few days. Jess, locum vet, listened to me and we discussed various measures we could take. Felt supported. Meds and fluids given. Meds for home use as well. We will go back for a review in several days. End of life options also discussed. Very happy to have been able to talk things thru.β
βWe were referred to Dr. Debbie and the team at The Skin Vet because my dog Norman decided to make a spontaneous career change to βdiver of lost and unknown sticks,β which got us into a bit of a tricky predicament. Thanks to his dive into yucky water, he ended up with two bacterial ear infections. One was cleared by our vet, but despite four sedated ear flushes every two weeks, they couldnβt get rid of the second infection using antibiotic ear drops due to a ruptured eardrum. After dealing with the infection for a good three months, Debbie and Ellie managed to create a safe concoctionβand two weeks later, at his check-up, it was all clear! Iβm so thankful for such a talented team. They managed my difficult dog like absolute pros and I couldnβt be happier with the service and the result.β
βLaura and her team came highly recommended to us and she has been caring for our 4 alpaca boys for several years now. All the team are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. They are always happy to answer questions and up-skill owners should they wish to learn more. I always feel my boys are in the best possible hands when being cared for by Laura and her team.β
βAmazing prompt and skilled and caring attention for desexing of our kittens! Thank you!β
βHave been with vets north for years now. Always get great service. I highly recommend the vet care, especially appreciative of vet Cathy, who has been fantastic with my animals over the years.β
βI had two rabbits and now I have one left. Dr. Kenzie is one of the best doctors. Melow and I are so happy to have you with us.β
βI had a really great experience with the 2 lovely staff members yesterday. Both were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in helping me choose the right products for my puppy. They went above and beyond and I'd definitely pop back in to that store when I'm in the area again.β
βWoolworths Waiata Shores in Takanini is one of the most impressive and forward-thinking supermarkets in South Auckland. Itβs not just a place to shopβitβs part of a larger, eco-conscious development that blends sustainability with everyday convenience. From the moment you walk in, youβll notice how clean, tidy, and well-organized the store is. The wide aisles, modern fixtures, and inviting layout make for a calm and enjoyable shopping experience. Shoppers often praise the helpful and friendly staff, as well as thoughtful touches like kid-sized trolleys, which make it easier for families to bring their little ones along. What really sets this Woolworths apart, however, is its commitment to sustainability. It holds the distinction of being Aucklandβs first supermarket to receive Green Star accreditation, which reflects its environmentally responsible design. The building is fitted with solar panels that generate a portion of its power, along with advanced refrigeration systems that use natural refrigerants. Energy-saving LED lights, water-efficient taps, and even digital shelf labels all contribute to a greener operation. The store also offers EV charging stations and bike parking, making it easier for customers to choose sustainable transport options. In terms of product range, the store has everything youβd expect and moreβfrom fresh produce and a well-stocked bakery to an in-store pharmacy and online order pickup services. Itβs strategically located at the entrance of the Waiata Shores development, which is a thoughtfully planned community with parks, walkways, and cafes, creating a welcoming neighborhood hub for locals. Overall, Woolworths Waiata Shores is a great example of how supermarkets can combine excellent service, cleanliness, and convenience with serious environmental efforts. Whether youβre doing your weekly grocery run or picking up a few essentials, this store makes the experience smooth, pleasant, and sustainable.β
βFantastic vets. They were able to get me in at short notice and the whole team were wonderful. Just a great experience all round. Thanks you!β
βTook my Puppy here for her haircut last week and it was the best she's had yet, we will definitely become regulars here. They asked me exactly how I wanted her to look, and they made sure that she had the best experience ever. Being a puppy she's very social and active but she came out looking absolutely amazing and I couldn't have wished for a better job. Amazing team and fabulous groomers in a wonderful space with plenty of parking for a quick dash in and out.β
βLong time client of Cathy and Phil and no hesitation in singing their praises. Professional, compassionate and caring for my late German Shepherd and now, my Bichon/Toy Poodle X. Highly recommended.β
βI love getting a reminder via email and text that my fur baby is due for his yearly vaccines! Booking an appointment online is super easy, done in 1 minute tops. Once I got in the lovely ladies greeted me and I was seen very quickly. They listened to the concern I had with a bump on Alfies skin and took a look at it for me and gave me advice. Did the vaccine and I was good to go. My dog was very at ease in the patient room. Kumeu isn't local for us, but it is worth the drive for this kind of care.β
βExcellent care for very reasonable cost!β
βWoolworths always delivers! The store is consistently clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. It makes the weekly shop feel just that bit more pleasant. Friendly staff and fresh produceβcanβt ask for more!β

βCountdown is great for its wide, clutter free isles, the comprehensive refrigerated fruit and vegetable selection, and the extensive range of products in every department. I especially appreciate being able to buy pin-boned salmon fillets.β

βMy favorite Woolworths in the west. Not too big but still carries a great range. Love that the store is always fully stocked in the morning including the bakery. Staff are friendly and helpful and parking is never an issueβ
βVery big super store, you can buy things here easily, very well organized.β
βI love popping in to the Countdown after work. So convenient, well stocked with all our grocery needs. I have 3 sons living at home and my hubby so I'm always topping up on meat here. The meat is pretty affordable. We grab a big bag of sausages that splits into 2 meals for us. Chicken tenders, fish, chicken nuggets and chips, burgers, pizza, dumplings, spaghetti bolognaise or lasagna are all on our menu and easily available here.β
βNice modern Countown store with clean and well maintained facilities. Easy access from two roads to the large carpark. Do note that shopping bags are no longer provided so bring your own or purchase the ecobags instore for future reuse. The store has a wide selection of everyday necessities along with the liquor, fresh fruit, deli etc. Staff were helpful and polite. Self service is provided but Card Only.β
βThis is not my usual supermarket but I went there specially because this was the only supermarket I came across that stocked "Kindness shampoo" for delicates and woollens that smells nice and has the wool logo. This was recommended to me.β
βClean and wellβstocked, it offers a wide variety of pantry essentials including organic and bulk food. Helpful staff and fast checkout options. Located on Levelβ―3 of Westfield Mall, it offers free parking for 3 hours if you register your Car number plate in the Westfield app. It's slightly tricky to find inside the mall, but it's worth the visit!β
