walking out thru the check out with an empty trolley as i don't find what i need. a worker from behind used a remote device to lock the wheel of my trolley and making a alarm noise, making me look like a thief, everybody looking at me like a thief too. as the trolley brake suddenly, i kicked my toe on the trolley, toe nail cracked and bleeding. What a bad morning, doesn't get what i wanted to buy and suffered PHYSICAL and MENTAL pain

I think this supermarket in particular has come a long way in the last few years. I honestly did not used to like it but since the renovations have been done. It kind of reminds me of the Beachlands store in its layout. I think it looks great inside and has the feel of a modern Woolworths/Countdown supermarket. It does sort of feel quiet though, too quiet as everyone is obviously next door at Pak N Save. The carpark is really good as well- providing a rooftop or undercover option, both ideal. I think this supermarket is every bit as good as the Howick branch, but probably better as there is more variety. This is just another good Woolworths store that could probably do just a bit more to entice visitors.

A pretty good selection of products. Its competitor Pak n Save is adjoining & obvious that this branch has lost a lot of customers to next door. I still go there at times to avoid crowds & for some products not stocked at PnS. Another big advantage is the in-store pharmacy so you can shop while you wait for your script to be filled or get it sent there direct & collect, though I canβt remember if they have a free from surcharge or do free blister packs (like Chem W/H do). Fewer checkouts open, but I generally use the self-checkout & donβt often strike queues there. Staff are generally polite & helpful. I generally use the Grocer App to form a list of products that are on sale or I canβt find at PnS.

I enjoyed shopping here since the upgrade but please get rid of the annoying charity sales people at the front of the shop! I donβt mind donating to the likes of spca but itβs annoying seeing someone new nearly every week!! I donβt enjoy being harassed for money in this cost of living crisis right now!

Woolworths Pakuranga, located inside Pakuranga Plaza at the corner of Ti Rakau Drive and Pakuranga Road, offers a convenient and reliable shopping experience for the local community. Open daily from early morning until late evening, the store provides flexible hours for a wide range of shoppers. Despite the plaza itself facing ongoing issues such as construction, empty storefronts, and a generally quiet atmosphere, Woolworths remains a busy and well-stocked supermarket that continues to attract regular customers. Inside, the store is clean and easy to navigate, with wide aisles and clearly marked sections for fresh produce, meats, bakery goods, frozen foods, and pantry staples. Many locals appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the convenience of plentiful parking and access to nearby services within the plaza. While customer service is generally praised, some shoppers have noted issues like pricing discrepancies on shelves, cold air conditioning, or occasional stock problems with online orders. Still, Woolworths Pakuranga holds its place as a dependable and practical option for everyday grocery needs. It offers a consistent range of essentials along with multicultural items suited to the areaβs diverse population. Despite the dated feel of the surrounding mall, the supermarket continues to operate efficiently and plays an important role in meeting the needs of the community.

Terrible customer service from a checkout operator. I asked for a One NZ top-up voucher but she gave me a Paysafecard voucher. No staff member can help resolve the issue. I have to pay for the mistake I did not make and cannot find a way to use that stupid voucher.

I'm getting more tired of shopping here. The store itself is great, I like the range of food compared to the smaller store. However, I don't appreciate the women at self checkout asking if I'm going to pay for my daughters kinder surprise. We regularly get them for treats and it's the last thing I scan so my daughter isn't sobbing while waiting but somehow they seem to think I'm trying to steal a $2 item which to me is ridiculous, we always pay for everything, seems pointless stealing something of little value. Just hate being treated and looked at like I'm a thief.. I get this store has had their struggles with theft but it's tiring feeling accused when I did nothing wrong.

Unfortunately, the checkout operators insist on overpacking bags every time. They need to understand that when dealing with older people, they cannot lift very heavy bags. Have to tell them this every time, often 2 or 3 times during an order being bagged. Also, unable to accept any feedback, including the above without becoming defensive. Looking forward to some more competition in the area
