The team here are always really friendly and welcoming. They’re fantastic with animals and were so great with my dog, Tim — calm, kind, and clearly knowledgeable. They sorted out the problem quickly, which was such a relief. I’m always really happy with the care we receive and genuinely enjoy visiting. Highly recommend.

Vets North Kumeu were great. My dog is very anxious going to the vet but they were patient and allowed her time to adjust and move through to the examination room when she was ready. Her needs to tended to promptly and professionally, they were very gentle and reassuring. Would recommend to anyone who wants a vet they can have confidence in. Hopefully we don't need to take Stella too often but when we do Vets North is where we will be going. Thanks guys

I love getting a reminder via email and text that my fur baby is due for his yearly vaccines! Booking an appointment online is super easy, done in 1 minute tops. Once I got in the lovely ladies greeted me and I was seen very quickly. They listened to the concern I had with a bump on Alfies skin and took a look at it for me and gave me advice. Did the vaccine and I was good to go. My dog was very at ease in the patient room. Kumeu isn't local for us, but it is worth the drive for this kind of care.

Vets North Kumeu have been the most exceptional place we have ever gone too. The receptionists are truly amazing and professional and the vets like Elliot and Finn are fantastic with handling bunnies. Their knowledge is comprehensive and extremely accurate. We will always be coming here and highly recommend it to everyone else. Thank you!

Zero stars Do not go here!! The experience was extremely distressing and left me feeling that my cat or myself was not given the care, compassion, or honesty that should be expected from a veterinary professional. My cat had a blocked urinary track and was in extreme pain. The vet had said he needed surgery which would cost $2,500 that I had to pre pay before she would help my cat. After the surgery had been paid for and was compleated she called me to come back. The vet then said he would need to stay in their care for the next week at a cost she estimated at $3-5k. She then provided infomation which proved to be false, misleading and heartbreaking. I asked if I could take him home after the surgery and care for him myself, she had said no that it wasnt an option. I felt pressured into making the heartbreaking decision to put my cat down after the surgery as the only other option to the cat staying in vet care for a week at an exorbitant cost they expected me to pre pay. The manner in which this was handled felt cold and purely financially motivated, rather than in the best interest of my pet’s welfare. Thankfuly I called around other local vets in the car park and they informed me Vet North Kumeu cannot stop me taking my cat home to care for it and help it recover. I am beyond disgusted but also with deep concerns about the ethics and practices of this clinic. The lack of compassion and transparency was cruel and unacceptable. For referance this was over 2 years ago but recently noticed my review was removed and wanted to warn others to not take there pets here! My cat has been happy and healthy ever since making a full recovery at home.

I took my very nervous, jumpy puppy today to see vet, Gemma for her ‘big girl’ vaccination. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by receptionists and offered treats for her weigh-in. Gemma called us in, checked all our information and we had a chat about the issues and my concerns in regards to my pup. She gave her lots of pats, attention, and treats… after a bit of a leaping issue, and a very kind remark, she made the decision to use a “party hat” and called a vet nurse in to help me hold her. Gemma and the vet nurse used lovely calming voices and shots were done. Hallelujah!!!! After a few treats later she was happy to go home to her doggie sister. Thanks so much team for a much less traumatic vet experience for my girl. I’ll be switching vets that’s for sure!!!

Our tabby cat aged 15 was treated here with 'radioactive iodine' for her hyperthyroidism requiring a 6 night stay in isolation. With all other avenues exhausted (re meds/limited iodine food) we opted to travel 3 hours to seek this specialized treatment. I can't thank Graeme and the team enough; so glad we did it and we have a very happy 'Tiggy Tiger' back. Being the 'helicopter kitty mum' I am, I couldn't wait for the texts and rang the clinic daily. I was always treated with patience and kindness by the ladies on the front desk. They looked after her so well and we were very grateful for the daily updates.

If i could give Vets North Kumeu a zero star rating i would. They dont care about your animal they care about your money and that was at the expense of our beloved pet. Took her there because she wasnt eating and hadnt for the past 4 days. The vet was more concerned about how she was "over weight" by 1kg. Told us give her this tablet if shes not eating in a few days to come back, as if a tablet was going to make a difference, we wanted bloods done. Took her to another vet one who cared!! To find out she had liver cancer and it has spread too fast that she was unable to be saved. There was a window of hope a 2 week window. After the passing of our girl, made contact with Vets North only to get the response i thought i would, a cover their own backside. I have nothing positive to say and you can quite imagine what id like to end this with... definitely dont let these guys be the ones to care for your beloved animals because i highly doubt for a positive ending. Our cat got treated here with radioactive iodine for hyperthyroid. She is like a kitten again! And they texted me every day of her stay to let me know she was OK.
