Buy our Hills Metabolic cat food here. The staff are always very helpful and quick with the service. Well stocked store with a great variety of cat toys. Never a problem with parking outside the store.
I waited for the store to open, I walked inside, nobody greeted me. I walked down to the cat section and stood there for 20 minutes trying to figure out what I needed for my cat. In all that time, not a single staff member bothered to ask me if I needed assistance. Then I walked out, all of them just chatting at the check out, didn't even notice me. Quite disappointing that I now have to try another branch.
Animates Glenn Innes is truly amazing for anything you need, from pet food to vet care. The vet team is outstanding, especially Dr. Tania, who is caring and professional. I have been taking my two dogs there for over four years, and every visit has been a great experience. The team is always respectful, attentive, and really listens, which makes me feel confident and supported in my pets’ Care. Thank you Team.
Asked for advice on pet food was shown a range to look at ,caught them on a busy time so they really didn't have much time to ask for any more questions . Still managed to get something of what I wanted.

I bought some fish here that I liked and as a result lost about 30 of the fish I had before, they were infected with a parasite and took me 3 weeks to get rid of while constantly loosing fish and having to treat them every few days and do water changes. I've kept fish for 20 years and never experienced sush a bad contamination. I'll never buy fish from any animates store in my life.
DISGUSTING treatment, DANGEROUS cheap products They sold me a cat play toy which came apart and choked my cat (see photo, BE WARNED). The feather 'tail' just comes off in the cat's mouth. When I asked their vet for help they got snarky and refused to help or discuss the issue. BE CAREFUL OF THEIR PRODUCTS they are unsafe, over-priced, cheaply made and DANGEROUS. Staff are very young, inexperienced, and rude if you have a problem. I'd give them MINUS stars if I could.
We come here for my two cats. This Animates branch has a great selection of pet products such as food, toy, accessaries etc. There is a vet clinic and dog wash station on site. The staff are knowledgeable and super helpful.
