“Great spot, further out of town so cats are in a quiet farm setting. The owner really cares for all of them which means your cat isn't just a number. Each set of rooms has an enclosed outdoor space and they get to run around in it daily when it's their chance, rather than just having a small cage they stay in for the whole stay. The rooms and outdoor areas also look out onto the fields of sheep/pigs etc... so there is stimulation vs watching the side of a road or the opposite building.”

She explained everything really clearly and was so compassionate and caring that our cat calmed down and I think fell a little in love, she was purring instead of hissing. “Took a friend here yesterday with Kayla the pup. Prior to going had emailed for information on immunisations. Prompt friendly response from staff. Phoned to book and staff friendly and happy to help. Great staff and very reasonably priced. Visit calm and friendly wait, vet gentle with pup, picked up heart murmur explained it well. Good checkup, information on behaviour management. Suggested puppy schools and trainer. When to worm etc. Loved the backpack/front pack idea for walking around Mitre10 and getting her used to all sorts of people and noises. Great reminders about not putting pup on the ground where unvaccinated dogs Iggy have been, due to high rates of parvovirus in Chch at moment. I’m going back here to get our girl backup to date health wise. Thankyou”

“Great experience, I went in to just grab some raw meat for my pup after googling " raw pet food in Christchurch"...the friendly staff member questioned me on what I want for my pup, she was full of great knowledge on animal nutrition and done a quick free assessment, using my dogs weight, size, breed etc, she gave me recommendations on best food and importantly how much she should be feed daily. Great variety of good quality, healthy food for your pet. It looks like this is my new regular dog food supplier. I definitely recommend people at least check out the variety of pet food if your in the area.”

I prefer cashier checkout as I have a baby in my hands and always have a great experience with beautiful staff helping me at checkouts. But this last shop Sagar made my day. He was very friendly, he actually cared about my groceries so he packed them very well so nothing gets squished etc. He showed me how to use boosters in the app so I could receive more points and save more in the future. I really appreciate his service and will come back as these kind of days stay in the memory and brighten the week.”
