I was very stressed when my cat had a urinary blockage and my regular vet couldn’t make a same day appointment. After calling a few other local vet clinics who also had no appointment times I contacted Carevets at Mount Wellington who booked me an immediate appointment. The staff were friendly and helpful and they gave excellent care for my cat who is now on the mend. I can’t recommend the team highly enough and will be making them my regular vets from now on. AFFORDABLE PET CARE WHAT A JOKE My elderly mother took her 11 year old dog there only just taking it there a few days before to see what was wrong with her charged her 100 for that visit no improvement went again today gave her an estimate of 1600 to 1700 to do xrays bloods again and hydrate her and tests said she had to sign a form so to make sure she paid for it although she never had enough to pay for the ridiculous amount. She has been going to that place for years and all they said today was oh you can go to another vet if you cannot pay for it, Absolute disgrace i will be contacting you as I want all paper work you have overcharged my mother. Disgraceful lot ........ NO STARS

After having some terrible experience at other places. Id given up hope on a vet that would truely help & care for our cats, let alone treat us as humans instead of an endless opening wallet!! Then a work- mate mentioned these guys Carevets Mt Wellington. WOW. They are Brilliant. They know animals & how to nuture, fix & help them be healthy & happy. They have an incredible amounts of knowledge, professionalism, empathy & kindness. Great friendly staff that truely care & understand your Pet. They do get busy, however they will do their best to try get you in. That means alot & I wish we had known about them sooner.
Kezia is lovely & great with rabbits. Nurses are lovely & everything is done professionally & with care. The only let down is the receptionist is rude & needs to learn how to maintain customer service. But I will not let one person ruin it for the rest of the place & staff . Thanks team
I trust vet Kezia and nurse Mik with my rabbits 100%! Always the most knowledgable, genuinely care about the rabbits they see and treat them all in a way that’s best suited for the rabbit. Amazing team of awesome people here!
