“What a beautiful, caring & professional team - I am so grateful that a practice of this quality is so close to my home. Came in with my cat who had a mystery injury on her leg. Every check up, the vet has been so gentle with my cat, as well as thoroughly informative & considerate of my budget. They gave me a full written diagnostic of their findings & concerns, answered any questions I had & even a phone-call check-up the next day. “Our dog Daisy doesn’t particularly enjoy being groomed. We’ve tried a lot of places and sometimes the dogs are put into cages either side of their groom. Daisy hates that. But at City Dogs it’s fun! Like doggie crèche. Divided into morning and afternoon sessions, the dogs get to play either side of their groom. Daisy enjoys it so much she is super excited trying to get into the play area. As for the grooming, that’s great too.”

She gets to socialize with all different breads, she is mentally stimulated through the day, with awesome pack leadership by the staff. “Recently returned to the District, from Torbay. My little mate dog Finnegan became very unwell. Vet Centre Ruakaka was fully booked but arranged for a consult at Waipu. Vet Pip was awesome, as is, the whole experience. A quiet weekend and with me administering prescribed meds in conjunction with prime beef mince, Finnegan improved markedly. “The staff at Carevets Papakura are wonderful, professional and caring. I can recommend this place very highly In the work they do. Netting was very noticeable unfortunately was their working conditions in the office area. It was extremely warm and not comfortable for anyone to be there for too long. Maybe the landlord might be able to at the least put In an air condition unit. The staff deserve that. Fingers crossed, for next time I visit there is one installed.”

We walk or cycle around Orewa as so central, 5 mins to the beach and to the heart of restaurants and shops. The owners have always looked after us, so come and stay, as it’s a terrific break away.”
