“My rottweiler Nox has been a regular at the Dog Den for 2 years. She is very well looked after by the all the team, as they are all excellent at what they do. She gets to socialize with all different breads, she is mentally stimulated through the day, with awesome pack leadership by the staff. The full day package suits our needs and expectations, and she comes home well exercised and very happy. If you are thinking about a daycare facility for your fur-baby I highly recommend the Dog Den. The best decision we made for our girl.”

It’s not flashy or overly modern, but it’s practical and clean, with that familiar warehouse-style layout that Pak’nSave is known for. If you’re after low prices without the bells and whistles, it ticks the right boxes. The store is spacious and easy to navigate, even during busier times. Aisles are wide, shelves are usually well-stocked, and signage is clear enough to help you find what you need without wandering too much. The overall vibe is no-frills, but things generally run smoothly and efficiently. Prices are sharp across the board — groceries, meat, produce, and household items all come in at the lower end, especially if you keep an eye out for specials. The fruit and veg section can be a bit hit or miss depending on the day you visit, but most of the time it’s decent. The meat section usually has a good range at affordable prices, and the bakery offers the basics like bread, rolls, and a few sweet treats. Staff are usually around if you need help, but it’s a typical Pak’nSave setup — more of a DIY experience. Most people are just in and out, focused on the shop, so don’t expect high-touch service. That said, checkout lines move fairly quickly and self-service options help if you’re only picking up a few things. The carpark is decent with a fair amount of space, though it can get full during peak shopping times, especially weekends. The location is handy too, close to other shops in the area, so it’s easy to tick off errands in one go. As with other Pak’nSaves, the online listings don’t always match what’s in-store, so it’s best to go in with a flexible list rather than expecting everything to be there. Overall, Pak’nSave Silverdale is a dependable local spot. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, roomy, and delivers on what really matters — saving money. If you’re in the area and want to stock up without spending too much, it’s worth the stop.”

My dad needed a liquid form of medication, which had to be specially prepared. Initially, I took the script to Unichem Pharmacy in Silverdale Mall on the 15th of December and asked them to put it on hold, as we wouldn’t need it until the following week. When I called them on the 24th to request the medication, they informed me that it couldn’t be prepared the same day and wouldn’t be ready until the 26th. Despite explaining that we had run of medication and it’s important for my dad, they refused, citing that the preparation process was too time-consuming. Their lack of flexibility and unwillingness to help left me frustrated. I reached out to Unichem Weiti Pharmacy, and the difference in service was remarkable. They assured me that the solution was straightforward to prepare and were more than happy to assist. They even offered to communicate with the Silverdale pharmacy if needed. I collected the script from Silverdale and went directly to Unichem Weiti, where they promptly prepared the medication. “I find Pestrol a pleasure to deal with. Their customer service is of a high standard, patient, polite, respectful, friendly & helpful. I find high standards in customer care not as common as it used to be with people not being able to focus & answer questions fully, but that is not the case here! They also include free gifts for orders over certain amounts (which I didn't know, so when my parcel arrived it felt like Christmas)! I wish the women who serve me by email & phone get well deserved pay raises. Due to all these positives, I will remain a loyal customer in future - I have no reason not to.”
