   I have nothing but praise for the vets, nurses and front office staff at Strand Vets. My cat Rufus and I have been regular visitors there for more than nine years and we have received first-class care for his ailments. I’m sorry to say he has had more than his share of problems. He enjoys his visits once he’s freed from the car and his cage. Thank you very much, team!

   I bought my nearly 12 year old dog in to see the team at TSV. I have never felt more welcomed and calm. Same with my neurological issued boy. He is aw treated with such love, such care. A huge shout out to the team. Erin, is a fabulous vet. Sophie and Dawn both made me feel incredibly welcome and all three looked after my dog, and me so very well. I can not recommend this vet enough. Thank you team!

   We recently switched over to The Strand Vet and I’m so glad we did. The whole team was really professional, caring, and went out of their way to make my dog feel comfortable. He normally doesn’t do well with vets or new people, but they were incredibly patient and attentive, catering to his needs the entire time. I felt reassured seeing how gentle and understanding they were, and it made the visit so much less stressful for both of us. Highly recommend The Strand Vet to anyone looking for a clinic that truly puts your pet’s wellbeing first

   The Strand Vet team has done a phenomenal job with my Whippet girl. As a veterinary nurse myself, I chose The Strand Vet because of their fear-free environment and expertise with sighthounds. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They not only met my expectations, they faaaaar exceeded them. Peppy received sooo much love – she didn’t even have the chance to get anxious ;). My girl is very sensitive to noisy and stressful environments and the team managed to provide a calm and relaxing environment for her. What really stood out was their exceptional knowledge around anaesthetic monitoring and their use of modern, advanced technology (capnography, ECG etc.). Sighthounds also get cold easily due to their low body fat but not at The Strand Vet! My girl was kept cosy and warm throughout her dental procedure with socks, blankies and Bair Hugger. Moreover, the vet Dr. Dowler assessed my girl at admission and gave me a heads up that my girl has a heart murmur which needs to be further assessed by a specialist. Although she was just seen by another vet the week prior, the severity of this got missed and I’m very grateful Dr. Dowler identified this issue. It’s very rare to find a clinic that combines such high-level clinical expertise with compassionate, individualised care. I truly cannot recommend them highly enough!!! Thank you for everything ♡

   Highly recommend The Strand Veterinarian! I had an emergency with my dog eating chocolate, I rang 3-4 vets nearby and none would take him in because he was not registered with any of the vet. However, The Strand Veterinarian took care of him immediately and got him treated. The staff members are so lovely and caring!

   Took my new puppy for his first vet visit and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They took time to show me around, made sure to make the experience positive for my doggo with lots of treats, socialising, and scratches. They were very thorough with the first visit and even caught an issue that we can now work through preventively. A really great team that I would definitely recommend!

   Brought my cat here for the last 3 years and they’ve been nothing but wonderful. Everyone from the receptionist, to nurses and vets are always so warm, caring and really take the time with you. You don’t feel like they’re just doing a quick job to get you out the door. The environment is calming and immaculately kept. Sadly because I’ve moved to the shore I don’t want to put my cat through longer car rides than necessary so have had to find vets closer to home, but we miss them already. Thank you Strand vets!
