“Exceptionally clean and very well maintained. Decor is lovely and modern and furnishings very comfortable. The guest lounge area was also exceptionally clean with no grubby marks on the lounges or chairs ...unusual in common areas. The grounds were also well maintained with beautiful gardens and lovely seating areas. Neville and Sandra very friendly and welcoming and the couple of staff we came across were lovely and seemed very happy in their roles. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay and we would highly recommend staying here. Don't bother looking anywhere else.”

“Our inter-city move with NZ Movers went exceptionally well. Couldn’t fault the work of this great crew led by J-L who was beyond spectacular in performance and was kind and patient and thoughtful to the end. It was a big day for us and the NZ Movers team of J-L and Josh who did truly amazing and committed work throughout the day with no let up in order to get our stuff all into the house in the one day. Josh also went out of his way to efficiently make sure everything that needed to be done was done well. Shane, the day labourer also deserves a positive mention for his noteworthy contribution to this successful day. We are very thankful to our team of 3 and by the end of the day everything had been moved to suitable rooms in the house. We highly, highly recommend NZ movers and especially JL in Dunedin for his strength, determination and kindness over a long day. GREAT JOB DONE. Excellent service. 5 stars well deserved from us! She warmly organised secure storage for our bags, arranged for them to be delivered to our room later, and offered thoughtful recommendations on places to explore while we waited. She even phoned us personally as soon as our room was ready all done with genuine kindness, professionalism, and a welcoming smile. “Very good central location. Tidy room, no complaints or concerns. We arrived on a cold day and it was a nice touch to discover the room was warm with the heater already on. Property is on a steep hillside, so may present some challenges for those with mobility issues. A very pleasant stay.”

“I saw it as/in passing to go to Salvation Army opportunity shop in Mosgiel. Two opp shops at least here. Wanted a place to stay the night, but could've ventured back home. Drove back after visiting Mosgiel's opp shops. Also getting sushi lunch there. Drove up, met reception, had a look at the room available, asked the price, then said "I'll take it." Later upon my return, I settled in and can report well worth staying. The room reaches my expectations, even the jug was clean, some places jug has rust inside! Thank you to Regency Motels Mosgiel. (In closing, HeHe, I often wonder with these reviews, what it would be like, if the host was to write a review about---ME!? And other guests report of me, same. Maybe Neighbours of my unit might be writing noisy night, as neighbour was snoring, other than that, the resort was superb). Regards Dcuzbromatov.”

“Only 3 blocks to town on the level. We had upstairs unit, nice and quiet. Decor smart and in very good condition very smart. Comfy bed. Bathroom great. Good cooking facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly. A lift to take you to the 1st floor. Manager made us feel very welcome upon arrival and we had off street parking. I wold stay again. Cafe next door makes excellent coffee and cinnamon scrolls and pies. Other food also looked good.”

“Midnight always comes home looking healthy and uninjured. By far my facility in Dunedin for overnight stays. The carers go the extra mile - one of them once told me that she’d fed my dog by hand to make sure he ate! Lovely people.”

“Stayed at the Chamberson for a long weekend and wow. What a beautiful hotel! Felt like I was staying in an upscale New York loft. The rooms were beautifully clean, quiet, cosy and warm and with all the amenities you need for your stay. The staff were wonderful and very helpful especially with information on the local area. Great location with lots to do in walking distance. Highly recommend, I’ll definitely be back.”
