“Sylvia is exceptionally proficient and professional. I am a 40 year old first time mother and it was important to have a care provider like her that has 30years experience and both a medical approach as well as a respect for the knowledge and experience-based style care that comes from midwives. This may be unique to my situation but I appreciated having scans, blood tests, and hard data to rely on as well as advice and wisdom from experienced mamas to help me make the right decisions for me and my baby. With Dr. Rosevear’s care I had an uncomplicated vaginal birth of a healthy 7lb baby boy and was on my feet and feeling really good almost immediately. She is unwavering in her goal of ensuring a successful birth. Along the way of my prenatal care she was honest and clear about the statistics, approaches, and interventions used in some births and potential outcomes –she didn’t sugarcoat things– and was always respectful of me and my partners endless questions and had no problem when we declined any interventions or elements of care that didn’t feel right for us. I am so thankful to have had her care for me and my sweet baby boy.”

“All these doctors are amazing, my husband prefers Dr Martin as he’s so lovely, I prefer Dr Chang as his knowledge on eczema is fantastic and I recently had Dr Hammond and he was awesome too. The hardest part about every visit is picking which doctor to have an appointment with as they all are very knowledgeable, kind, trustworthy and make next steps/instructions very clear. The follow up from this doctors office is great too! They call or message in the patient portal very frequently and even followed up with me after a late night call to healthline. They also call Neills pharmacy directly with questions of medication in stock etc to help me get what I need fast. They really are looking after us when we need it the most!”

“I see people making negative comments to this practise. Most of people who aim to criticise a business who aims to only serve and help jeopardises other people's opportunity to access good medical care. Any GP practise works hard to do their job. The doctors trained many years to have the opportunity to help. If you all can do is bring unfounded negative comments on a medical center you ought to just look at yourself and think how perfect you are. Anger management is needed in most people who rant repeatedly using google reviews as their only ammunition. Do we see positive comments to job well done? Nope. I believe that no one can please everybody. People with so much time in their hands and has anger issues unfortunately have access to this weapon called google reviews. Before anyone criticises another medical center, please remember nz is a small country. Auckland is a small city. One way or another you will need medical help in the near future. I only wish for respect to the Doctors that do nothing but to try and help alleviate illness and suffering because of an illness. They did not train hard to attempt to hurt anyone or anyone. They are people trying to help and make a difference.”

“Really convenient and good service. The MRI machine and just everything there is very good. I have had 3 MRIs and everything has been well planned and hasn't taken too long. The bookings were all done by Axis mainly so I didn't have to worry about any booking. Auckland Radiology Group is a part of Southern Cross North Hospital (physically it is inside it) which is very handy and the carparking is good. The staff is also friendly.”

“A great place to get the immigration medical tests done for families and individuals. A good friendly staff, the appointment was organized very well, all the paperwork was completed even before visiting the clinic was a perfect thing which saved a lot of time for us. I would recommend this clinic for families and individuals if you are looking to get the immigration medical tests done quickly.”

“My elderly mother has just spend 8 nights in emergency/ assessment/ward 63 and received professional/ caring treatment from nursing staff and doctors. An excellent experience one would rather not have! A good result home bound! The staff at Auckland City Hospital are amazing and desire praise and support and respect !”

“Recently needed an urgent ultrasound on the same day, staff were very helpful to find a slot for me. The sonographer had a lovely empathetic manner, was competent, and delivered just the right of information during the scan to give the reassurance I needed. I received a link to the app that evening and was able to see my photos/videos and the radiologist report.”

“I went for my X-ray and ultrasound tests today (28th July 2025) at around 10:40 AM. I was warmly greeted at the reception with a lovely smile, which I really appreciated. I would especially like to express my gratitude to the Sikh Doctor (apologies if I’ve described this incorrectly, as I unfortunately forgot to ask his name). He was remarkable—very kind and an exceptionally good listener. I also had a great experience during the Doctor at ultrasound. So, thank you to the entire AXS team—especially the X-ray technician. “To all the doctors, nurses and support workers in in the kids first ED- from a mom who had two overnight admissions with two of my kids within a week’s span. One a suspected accident related issue and the other a medical issue. You all are superstars, doing your best and beyond tirelessly even in the middle of the night to make sure each and every child is taken care of. Your services are nothing short of legendary. With sincerity I can say both my children were attended and treated to the best care in the best possible duration. Thanks a million once again.”

“The lovely Fijian/Indian Sonographer at Horizon Henderson was exceptionally professional, made me feel at ease and comfortable. He explained things to be in a way I understood without using too many medical jargon words. The guy knows his stuff, apologies I did not catch his name! Highly recommend booking with him. I had an inflamed gall bladder and multiple gall stones.”

“Totally Psyched have supported our children's needs for over 18months. This has been through one-on-one sessions, assessments for ADHD. TP have always put the needs of the children first and communicated where applicable and required. The staff have a vast field of expertise and continue to develop and support the children as requirements change. The staff are friendly and more than accommodating with appointment slots. There is always someone to communicate with and I have found them professional and factual with report writing and support. Thank you to all the team at TP.”

“So very thankful for my dental work done today. Very lovely dentist and assistant. Very comforting throughout. Going to the dentist makes me anxious but they were really good and made me feel calm. Didn't hurt like it usually does at other practices either. Also didn't have the usual gasps and overeactions other dentists have given me in the past over the state of my teeth - absolutely no judgement. Price was extremely good as well, couldn't quite believe it. Very relieved and thankful to have found this place, honestly was blown away, the whole package - highly recommend.”

“Highly recommend this practice! We recently moved to a provider linked to our health insurance, but have been with Te Puna Hauora (Northcote) for several years after a recommendation from whanau. *Convenient parking with plenty of spaces. *Welcoming receptionists who communicate well and ensure patients know to register their car details in the kiosk every time. *Flexible payment options, including online banking. *The Health Tracking app makes booking appointments and repeats easy. *The pharmacy next door is great for urgent meds, and prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy when not needed right away. *Nurses are caring, and the check-in process is smooth. Just arrive 15mins prior to your booking as advised. *The doctors, especially Dr Nehal Al-Reffe, are attentive, empathetic and thorough. She was definitely our favourite. *We've been lucky to be there when they had some donated packaged buns/bread for free that we took advantage of, something I've never seen at a GP before. I’ve seen reviews about dated decor, wait times and rude service, but in my experience, wait times are normal for any busy GP and rude service is not our experience. *The decor is not modern, but clearn, comfortable and warm. *Receptionists handle difficult situations (patients) well, and there’s signage about querying wait times after 30 minutes. Basically - if you are patient, respectful and communicate clearly and kindly, you'll go well here (as at any other GP.) We’re grateful for their support, particularly for my daughter's ADHD care and my post-WLS check-ups.”

“The district nurses are very care to patients and professional. Reception ladies are also very kind. It opens 7 days a week, even on the public holidays. Plus, there are always plenty parking spaces. I really appreciate their working on my wound care.”

“Experienced amazing care from the team today from reception and triage team as well as Dr Munro. I have severe back pain caused from an injury a few weeks ago and the care provided by the whole team made me feel at ease. I was seen to promptly and was given a bed to lay down on in a room as I was to uncomfortable to stand or sit down on a chair. The nurses checked in on me regularly and everyone took their time with me and made me feel listened to and truly cared for even though I could tell how busy you all were. I truly appreciate everyone for the care provided today ♥️ thank you so much xx”

“My husband went to Botany SuperClinic Public Hospital in November 2023. There were at least 40 patients waiting in the clinic. Luckily, as my husband is a chronic asthmatic who suffered from short of breath, he didn’t need to wait for a long time. Staff there are very nice and helpful. If you are not feeling well, let’s go there and get appropriate medical treatment.”

“The worst place we have ever been to. Not a friendly place to walk into. Very unfriendly place very dull place.The reception was most un helpful. We ended up walking out, until we talked to the hospital that sent us there. We went back and had wait for hour an quarter. Not impressed with horizon Northcote.”

“I have had great experiences with the Doctors Waimauku team, they are always friendly and helpful. Their acute clinic is great I was able to get in to be seen with a urgent issue on the same day with Sonya who was awesome.”
