   Sonographers have always been wonderful but the receptionist with short black hair and black framed glasses is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Have been there twice in the last month, answered my questions (basic questions about filling in a form, booking next appointment at the right time frame etc) in an extremely condescending way. Interestingly, saw her being friendly to NZ European patients, I am Asian. Not keen to go back just because of her unfortunately

   Recently needed an urgent ultrasound on the same day, staff were very helpful to find a slot for me. The sonographer had a lovely empathetic manner, was competent, and delivered just the right of information during the scan to give the reassurance I needed. I received a link to the app that evening and was able to see my photos/videos and the radiologist report.

   Absolutely useless! Went for 12 week scan and said we would be emailed a link for our photos taken! Rung and said they would send it through and still nothing! It's been 2 days going into a weekend now. So won't be able to call back until Monday now! Not happy in the slightest.

   The worst radiology astra branch we have ever been. Had appointment at 2.00pm the sonographer came 10 minutes late & started conversation with a negative comment. While she was scanning looks like she was in rush to finish off the scan. Asked her to check the cod of the baby to make sure everything is okay however she simply declined saying that we don’t check it here. During scan she was showing her attitude it’s looks like we went there for free scan. I will recommend you not to visit this Parnell Astra branch for ultrasound scanning . We have been in Ascot hospital Astra branch and always had great service with good professional sonographer. Never going to visit this radiology branch.

   I just tried to book my 20 week anatomy scan with Astra. Referred by Origins. For context I also had a scan with them a few weeks ago to check a complication I was having. The team advised they won’t accept me as a patient because I had my 12 week scan elsewhere: well, for a start that’s ridiculous, but also the only reason I had my scan elsewhere was because I was travelling for Christmas and they didn’t have an Astra where I was staying. Poor service! What kind of business (especially in Healthcare) turns away clients. I will share my experience with the OB Phillip Beattie and his clinic as I’m sure they will find this incredibly unhelpful being the referrer.

   One of the most trash services, I had to wait for 40 minutes longer with full bladder on my first visit, and the sonographer laughed at the swollen belly without explanation. I will never forget such an experience. I was confused about their terrible service, until their team leader Sue contacted me with her personal number and rude to me without knowing what had happened. And then, Sue found out that it was a mistake of their team and apologized to me. Of course, I recorded the whole process, which was really ridiculous.

   Called up for a pregnancy related scan, person on the phone was helpful but had conflicting information to what our midwife told us about what the scan involves. Not sure if they are lacking knowledge in the field or if they omit a certain procedure in the scan. Prices here are higher than elsewhere and appears the experience here it is not worth the price. Called and asked about the same scan at Sonelle Radiology and they were kind and helpful answering questions confidently.

   My wife was attended for 12 weeks of nuchal scan for pregnancy. Other normal radiologists in Auckland charge $50 for nuchal scan, but they charge $110 for same nuchal scan which was more than double price. I expected more professional and better service, however trainee was attended and supervisor was sit back at rear desk and having a tea during trainee was scanning my wife until she was stucked. I understand trainee need more field experience and training, but it's different story, if customers pay more to get better service. There was nothing professional and no reason to pay more than double price. I'll definitely not go back to Ascot Radiologists in Parnel. Also I would not recommend to others.

   The staff members are professional and knowledgeable though a bit cold and distance. The price is a bit dear though it also includes follow-up, so it end up become quite reasonable.

   I used Insight Radiology for my first pregnancy and now for my second. I have always found the team respectful, helpful and informed. They have excellent facilities and easy onsite car parking.
