Always exceptional service both from the Doctors and the reception staff and the nurse. I am thankful to have such a fabulous Medical Centre in Devonport
I was a former Patient of Anne Street Medical Centre, a small & personable Family Clinic with a wonderful reception staff, awesome GP’s & Nurses & I was with them for many years, they provided great service but all that changed when they decided to amalgamate with a few other Medical centres to become this Corporate monstrosity called the Devonport Health Centre & it’s been downhill ever since?? Soon all the good GP’s from Anne Street who transferred over to DHC including my own long term GP, left this DHC within 6 mths, for reasons unknown, go figure? As a Anne Street patient, I was automatically enrolled with this new Heath centre when they closed down Anne Street, but I didn’t like the changeover or this new Centre, it had lost that Family vibe feeling of the small Clinic, so I un-enrolled & followed by GP over to The Doctors Fred Thomas Clinic & never looked back, sometimes bigger is not better & amalgamation a disaster, one only has to see the results of the Auckland Council Super City for the idiocy of mergers like this? I hear that Anne Street Medical Centre has now reopened as a Family Medical Clinic again, under The Doctors, Medplus group of Clinics, so I may return as a Patient to my old Medical centre on Anne street?
Doctor not only gave what I understood to be dangerous advice, her demeanor was both condescending and dismissive. On top of that, after 12 minutes she got a mobile phone call and said “I have to take this”, at which point I left. Never again.
As a patient since the 1970s,the care has never been better.The doctors are courteous and really listen to their patient..The admin staff are helpful and supportive.I saw Dr Ori following a fall and the dry needling was a very helpful treatment.
A great place to get the immigration medical tests done for families and individuals. A good friendly staff, the appointment was organized very well, all the paperwork was completed even before visiting the clinic was a perfect thing which saved a lot of time for us. I would recommend this clinic for families and individuals if you are looking to get the immigration medical tests done quickly.
I came here recently for some injectables and saw Dr Ben and he was 10/10, I felt very comfortable to see him and his knowledge was great. Clean and tidy practice. Highly recommend!
I recently saw Dr Gaunt for cosmetic treatment of my forehead frown lines. His expertise helped inform and guide me as to what would be suitable for me. During the appointment I felt educated on the procedure and completely at ease. The results have been fantastic and increased my confidence. I would highly recommend his skill set and expertise for cosmetic procedures.
Every time!!! I had enough!! Called 9.30am asked for URGENT($40 extra) repeat prescription for my ADHD(!!!) medication, as per usual no response for hours then after 4 different conversations since 2pm, phones got switched off at 4.40 and I’m without my medication!?!? Thanks Devonport Health Centre for looking after my health so well. I’m only writing this review as it’s 3rd the similar thing is happening and someone at management level needs to look into the mess you have there.
DH merged a few small and fantastic local doctors clinics to create one large awful one. The good doctors left. The staff don't know what's going on, service is depersonalised, and you still can't even get appointments.
Nice clean clinic, very professional staff. I felt genuinely cared for. The nurses in particular were the best I've been treated by. My children, who are usually nervous at the doctors, where comfortable, calm and relaxed. Thanks Devonport Health.
