Whaea Amelia provided exceptional support to me and my three children during a very challenging time. She advocated strongly on our behalf, helping us to secure a home and the essential supports we needed after leaving everything behind. This was not a hand-out, but a hand-up. Her professionalism, compassion, and commitment have made a lasting difference to our lives. He mihi nui ki a koe, Whaea Amelia, mō tō manaaki me tō mahi rangatira. Ngā mihi maioha.

No help at all. Got mucked around almost 2months by theas guys, supposedly mental health workers. Cant keep appointments or remember what u talked about last time. Told I would be meeting in person an just got put off over an over. After i made it very clear I dont want to do this over the ph. I jst stoped engaging as I lost patience, was as honest as I could be. Not happy with nz system. No wonder so many people dont reach out.

Highly recommend this practice! We recently moved to a provider linked to our health insurance, but have been with Te Puna Hauora (Northcote) for several years after a recommendation from whanau. *Convenient parking with plenty of spaces. *Welcoming receptionists who communicate well and ensure patients know to register their car details in the kiosk every time. *Flexible payment options, including online banking. *The Health Tracking app makes booking appointments and repeats easy. *The pharmacy next door is great for urgent meds, and prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy when not needed right away. *Nurses are caring, and the check-in process is smooth. Just arrive 15mins prior to your booking as advised. *The doctors, especially Dr Nehal Al-Reffe, are attentive, empathetic and thorough. She was definitely our favourite. *We've been lucky to be there when they had some donated packaged buns/bread for free that we took advantage of, something I've never seen at a GP before. I’ve seen reviews about dated decor, wait times and rude service, but in my experience, wait times are normal for any busy GP and rude service is not our experience. *The decor is not modern, but clearn, comfortable and warm. *Receptionists handle difficult situations (patients) well, and there’s signage about querying wait times after 30 minutes. Basically - if you are patient, respectful and communicate clearly and kindly, you'll go well here (as at any other GP.) We’re grateful for their support, particularly for my daughter's ADHD care and my post-WLS check-ups.

Very rude behavior. Accusing my mother of something which she has not done. Talking to other people and laughing on the phone and I had to wait for their conversation to finish. Poor customer service

Unfortunately this place is super short staffed and if you are looking for an appointment be ready to wait 4 weeks until your next appointment. Trying to get repeat prescription is also frustrating as they may only start writing them in the afternoon an hour before they and the pharmacy close, which can be stressful when its almost the weekend and you will run out. And you requested it 2 days prior Especially if it is a medicine that must not be stopped .

I visited for a check up and a sore tooth. The dentist was really rough with my teeth, and I told him to be gentle once because it was unbearable. The tool slipped in the end because he was using too much force without caution, and damaged my gum. I basically just walked out at that point, but was still charged $65 for one side x ray when he only looked at one side, didn't even touch the bottom teeth until I pointed something out. He didn't check my right side teeth at all. I can find cheaper deals online with full check up and two x rays included, so I don't know why people would choose to come here. Very unprofessional, possibly my worst dentist visit experience.

So very thankful for my dental work done today. Very lovely dentist and assistant. Very comforting throughout. Going to the dentist makes me anxious but they were really good and made me feel calm. Didn't hurt like it usually does at other practices either. Also didn't have the usual gasps and overeactions other dentists have given me in the past over the state of my teeth - absolutely no judgement. Price was extremely good as well, couldn't quite believe it. Very relieved and thankful to have found this place, honestly was blown away, the whole package - highly recommend.

Yes, they are always booked out days ahead. Ive never had any issues with reception staff or service. They've always been helpful and polite. I come here like everyone else because its $16 and not the standard $75 an appointment like every where else. In my opinion on the shore I have had far worse service at snooty exspensive clinics like shorecare for $95 than Ive ever had here. Its always your choice dont like it go somewhere else.

Takes a week at any given time to see a Doctor . Apart from the Doctors and nurses themselve, the office staff are hopeless. Never helpful, never know what's actually going on, they don't even pretend to care and they can't even provide half the information you ask for what's the point of having a receptionist when I do most things she does myself anyway? What a joke

This is a typical horrible backward New Zealand clinic. Facilities are looking outdated and rather filthy. But what is even worse than that is the typical terrible NZ way of serving customers. Once they rang me up to ask me whether or not I made the payment even though I had received the receipt. Then after several months, they sent me a letter to tell me that I have outstanding amount for the last visit, which was totally false as I made the payment by EFTPOS with proof on my bank account. So I rang them up to complain that I will switch to a different clinic if this kind of nonsense continues. However, I have realised that you are very lucky if you find even a "normal" one in New Zealand. At the end of the day, the backward country deserves backwardness of everything.
